This is a recall notice from 2014.
It is still active.

Thanks for posting Tucker.

My 0.02, forget Remington exists and get a Timney or whatever floats your boat. If you buy a Remmy, immediately throw the trigger away. The recalls and quality control issues they have had for several years running is outrageous.

Is this a new recall?

Agreed on the trigger, too many good after,Arlen triggers to use the garbage factory one.

If your rifle was manufactured between May 1, 2006 and April 9, 2014

Yes, there are workarounds. But this is a shooting site, and it's an active recall, so it's worth posting.

What I meant was is this a new recall or different from the one that we knew about from a few years back?

Really, snipershide is a shooting site? I had no idea. All these years I thought it was bird watching forum.

Shipped mine back a couple months ago. The trigger was replaced but they had the pull weight set at 6 lbs. They said they would not set any lower than 3 lbs. Fine with me and they did that for free.
