Remington sa chassis or lr stock options under $500?

My buddy is wanting to put either a chassis or a gripped style stock on his short action Remy. He has a budget of $500. Anyone have good recommendations or cautions?

The KRG Bravo or Oryx by MDT for chassis. MC3 by McMillan for a stock is nice if you get the 400-500 options.

Bell and Carlson is a great us company manufactured in Kansas they have some adjustable options on there stocks for under your price point

I sent my buddy a link to the krg bravo and he’s really liking it above our other options so far. Quality looks excellent.

I have a krg X- Ray on mine, and it’s one of the earlier generations of it. I really like the chassis and the feel, but it does have a little bit of the cheap look with certain things not lining up perfectly. Granted that’s just the aesthetic of it, operation wise it’s great. Im hoping that’s not the same case with the bravo. I’m currently piecing together a build and I’m leaning towards waiting for a beat up MPA chassis to come up. I’ve seen them come around for $500-$600, but they always go very quick. If he’s in no rush that’s what I would do.
