Bergara BMR basically factory except the cheap Amazon cheekiest and a 6x24x50 Vortex crossfire II ( 30 mm) UTG rings. This rifle does shoot, long enough range is tough.

What is that enclosed front end on your chassis? The original KRG had a weaver rail on theirs, is it removable?

Ok last one. I was going for Gulf Racing colors but decided not to throw orange in. I think it looks good with one color. Has the sponge camo/marbled thing going. Not the most masculine color but whatever.
If your profile photo is recent you're safe. I like it.
Finally decided to pick up a .22LR while waiting for my GA Precision to be built. Here's what I settled on. Not very original, I know. Down the road I may swap the stock out for a KRG Bravo. Not sure yet though. Hopefully heading out to the range this weekend to zero it.

Looks great! I pulled my flip up caps off yesterday for the MARS match, didn't feel like having them get in the way with shoot through barricades.Starting to look PRS-ish???

Great idea! Not thrilled how the cap rotates with the occular when you change magnification anyways.
Is THAT why it wouldn't go bang?You will probably have more success if the bolt is in it though.
My ocular rotates to set the focus of the retical, the zoom is in front of that. I left my magnification set at 20x, which was probably a mistake, especially for the off hand standing unsupported.Great idea! Not thrilled how the cap rotates with the occular when you change magnification anyways.

I never knew that, sounds like a poor design. I have an Athon Cronus Gen2 BTR on mine. It has a focus ring at the very back of the ocular, and the magnification is a different ring in front of the rear bell.
The ocular focus for the retical stays in focus no matter what magnification I set it at...of course I have to adjust the parallax for distance with the side focus. Shooting a stage yesterday I set my DOPE for one distance (57 yards), and my parallax for the other distance (109 yards). Parallax focus on a 4" (IIRC) at 57 yards didn't seem too important. I just did 1.7mil hold over from that for he 109. I didn't dial for anything, and I didn't see anyone else dialing for distance or parallax either. 90 seconds for every stage in the match yesterday, 8 to 12 rounds per stage...90 second goes by a lot faster than I was expecting.
What I hated about the ATACR. Got annoying so I ditched the caps altogether.
It's different for sure. Not a deal breaker but I might ditch the caps for a bikni cover. Plus a little tweaking of cap position should keep me clear of the bolt from, say, 10x to 30x.
I wish I would have gotten into the positional rimfire game sooner, it seems like they have really increased the difficulty. We've been shooting Rimfire Challenge for a little over 3 years, I think the difficulty has increased in that game also, but since we've been doing it for a bit, it really hasn't been that noticeable.
You'll learn a lot pretty quick, at least I have. Not sure if I'll crank it up to 29x, but who knows. Pretty sure I won't leave it at 20x for the standing off hand stuff, takes too long to find the target, then it bounces around a lot.
I bought this old Martin 917VS .17 HMR back in 2008 after my first one got stolen. I just took it to the smith last week, and picked it up yesterday after finally getting it threaded. I also put a spare Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50 that I had sitting around on it. Best decision I’ve made for this rifle. Haven’t been to the range yet, but I live outside city limits, so I did do a couple of driveway pops when I got home yesterday. I’m going to enjoy this rig now. 
Dead Air recommends 0.400” long threads minimum. He cut them 0.625” and it still clears the blast baffle just fine. Just wanted to post this additional info in case anyone ever needs it in the future, if they’re having a rimfire threaded for a Dead Air Mask HD suppressor.
In this pic, you can see the comfortable amount of gap (dark space) between the blast baffle and the crown (silver). I also like the fact that 0.625” thread length gives me a full thread engagement, and even protrudes beyond the inside of the mount threads by about an extra 1/8”.

Mask is a great suppressor, but please go get a precision spacer for .200" to .225" long, threaded 1/2-28 and put it on the barrel. You will not like it when the exposed barrel threads inside the can gunk up with carbon and then the can wont come off. Suppressor mfgr's have thread specs listed for a reason.

My Christensen Arms Ranger 22 has threads are even slightly longer than that. Haven't had any issues with any of my other rifles... Probably because i remove the suppressors often, and I never let them sit on there for extended periods of time after shooting it, so I don't give it time to lock itself on. At the minimum, they get removed when I get home from the range that evening. I would never leave a suppressor on a gun after shooting it. At the minimum, I'll at least remove it, and then reinstall it, just to break any carbon that might have built up on it.

I am considering either the MDT XRS or KRG Bravo for my b14r. How are you liking the XRS? What else do you have to compare it to?
I haven’t been able to handle one, and my only concern is the grip shape looks funky - which makes me wonder if it will feel weird. Thanks
I love the XRS! I own 2 of them. The stock comes with 2 grips, angled and vertical. I bought a KRG Bravo first and wanted to like it but I couldn’t get over the poor fit and finish so I returned it. The XRS is about a pound heavier but in my opinion is a much better design. The B14r mags fit the mag well perfect, lock up tight and drop free.

I think I've got my Bergara pretty much how I like it. I made this stock about 7 years ago and gave it a bit of a retrofit with the arca rail and spigot. It's currently got a Tikka Tac A1 buttstock on it which was sitting around, it actually works really well. I added a heap of weight to it, currently just over 16lb with the added brass weights inside and the spigot is brass as well. It balances really nicely on a barricade.

A few days ago I shot my new CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer (22LR). I used a scope off from a different rifle so I didn't have a no wind zero and the scope base was a different angle, so some basic scope adjustments were required. I am headed for ARA Factory Class with the rifle so 50 yards is the distance and I have had a little practice so far.
Today the wind was fish-tailing from 6 o'clock at10-13 mph at the start and I used a lull or two to help get a decent zero. There were times that the wind was blowing things off the bench including my rifle case. I stuck with it to at least get a couple boxes of ammo through it, which I did. At the end of my stay the wind was between 18 and 23 mph, still fish-tailing.
So, I'll clean everything up and get ready for tomorrow. I am enjoying shooting 22s and I particularly like this rifle with the Manners stock. It doesn't feel like a youth gun!

Added another Anschutz 64 (1416 AV) to the vault. Topped with a DIP picatinny rail, Warne Mountain Tech low rings, and Leupold 3-9x33 EFR with Leupold flip caps. It shoots excellent! I'm probably going to add another Anschutz to the collection, but a 54 (1712 AV)...soon.
