The T3 Summit in the Boyd stock was drop in and with the Thompson Machine Operative barrel it is as quiet as the 77/22. It will take some getting used to operating the bolt on the T3 but an excellent conversion. The only thing I am changing is low 30MM rings. What you see is too high for consistant cheekweld.

Yep, thats the T3 Summit as it comes from PWS. Its a great little shooter - puts decent groups down with crappy Rem Cyclone, and shoots some really nice groups with higher end stuff like the Lapua Centre-X.
It only has a few hundred rounds through it at the moment, but seems to be getting better with age. Such a fun little action (when you live in a country that cant have semis).

That's a Tactical Operations (Tac Ops) Stock Pack. Depending on what stock you'll be installing the Stock Pack/Cheek Pack on, you may want to order the Stock Pack with the "LONG" Straps instead of the standard length Straps. Each Stock Pack/Cheek Pad comes with three (3) straps to secure the SP/CP to the rifle. These straps are long enough to fit many different stocks, but some stocks that have "tall" buttstocks such as the McMillan A4, A5 and A3-5 and the Manners T1, T4, and T5 work better with longer straps. The LONG Straps are about 2" longer than the standard straps and can be substituted for the standard straps. The trick is that if you want the LONG Straps you'll have to order direct from Tac Ops.
If you want to order a Stock Pack w/LONG STRAPS email me and let me know what pattern or color you want and I get you a shipped price from Tac Ops.

Yep. I have almost same gun. We shoot 330 yards and can hit 12" Dirty Bird target.

Tresmon, how do you like the Boyd's Tacticool stock? Do you feel it is a durable/viable option for those that at the moment afford a Manners or McMillan? Would a person be better off with one of Boyd's other stocks?

Well I'm torn on the issue. First, and last, I'm glad Boyd's offer the Tacticool.
If it were not for the price tag I would be trying to make do with the sporter stock.
However I was hugely disappointed it was not their classic lamination style stock. In my humble opinion Laminated wood stocks are the best of both worlds: the warmth of wood and the stability if synthetics.
The Tacticool stock is two blocks of PINE glued together, then milled into a stock. That SUCKS.
So if you can afford a REAL quality stock, get one. If you have to choose between a sporter and a Boyd's, get the Boyd's.

Russ, I'll call you, just figured it out yesterday. Sign up for a free account on Photobucket and you can upload pics from your PC.It gets a little tricky after that, but easy once you do it. There is a thread here that explains it.
