i am hopeful, but i don't know anything about jury selection and you have seen the same threats we saw before the floyd suicide trial.
the jury will be doxed, and even if they aren't, they will be justified in believing they will be eventually.
as much as i would like to sit on the jury and vote to acquit, i can't say i envy any of them or their families if the let st. kyle go free.
In a trial that is this public with threats of looting and violence the Jury should be protected and their identities kept under wraps so the decisions are not swayed by this pressure.
In cases like this there needs to be more anonymity for the jury.

The only reason why this is such a big issue in the media is the rifle Kyle used. If it was any other type of rifle, we wouldn't have heard a peep. I personally don't believe the jurors will be as corrupt and influenced by the media as they were in the Chauvin trial. Everyone involved with Kyle's incident were all white and non-cops. So no race baiting or anti-cop nonsense from the Left-wing media. Apparently the silver bullet (no pun intended) that the prosecutors are gonna use is footage from a police IR drone that apparently catches what really happened during the first shot. And of course the prosecutors are gonna say that he wasn't legally old enough to have the rifle and that by him simply being there with said rifle makes him an instigator that was there looking for a gunfight.
But yeah, I feel this is gonna be a pretty cut and dried case unlike the Chauvin trial. This trial is literally nothing more than just a dopey kid in the wrong place at the wrong time and used justifiable force to escape and protect himself.

I have literally never voted for a Democrat in my life. Not sure how I qualify as a lefty, other than that I have some different opinions on things than others here, though I could dare you to find one single policy that you and I would disagree with. We might analyze certain things differently, hell, I admittedly changed my mind in this thread, but I am absolutely not a lefty of any sort.
I am also not a Christian, nor do I think I would like it up the ass, though I have never tried. I can't say that I dislike a little tongue while getting head, though.

Yup, their famous quotes against an all powerful government would be labeled as hate speech. The truly ironic aspect is antifa is supposed to be against fascism and yet they are being used as government pawns.
One of my biggest peeves with Antifa is the fact they call themselves Anarchists. They are Socialists, not Anarchists. Anarchism and Socialism are literally polar opposite of eachother. It ticks me off because politically I am 90% Libertarian and 10% Anarchist and as soon as any Conservative sees the A word, I get put in the same category as the soyboys of Antifa.

The parties' ability to influence the makeup of the jury is pretty limited, unless the prospective jurors say something really stupid.

Did you all catch the idiocy of the prosecutor near the end of the motions hearing when he told the judge that you shouldn't be allowed to shoot an unarmed person even if they're the aggressor? So according to him a 75 year old 4' 6" tall old lady packing a .38 in her purse isn't allowed to use it against some 6' 8" unarmed thug attacking her and trying to rob her.

Around here they have Infact formed a defacto Union. Roll up to pick up a couple guys and it’s $300-400 per day. Not a single one will do it cheaper either, if any of the others find out someone was undercutting they will run them off and not allow them back. I usually try not to jump in on this but exactly how does carrying a firearm and exercising one's right make them "piss weak"? Are you actively trying to troll because I can't imagine a gun owner ever taking that stance.
