I upgraded MDT SCS stock, looks very sexy! You can see pictures at top!Anyone who's upgraded to the new RPR buttstock, are you happy with any specific improvements over the original? I don't have have any specific complaints about the factory stock, but maybe I'm missing something. It's kind of pricey.
I had Ruger send me 2 new parts. When I received them I compared them with the old parts. I could not see any difference but installed the new parts and damn the release worked as it is supposed to. Oh well.Pics might help for us to understand. . .?
AM,Just got my 2025 Gen 4 Ruger precision rifle. Just finished mounting my Vortex Razor HD Gen ii 4.5-27x56 I had to go forward on the pic rail to mount the scope to get the eye relief I wanted as it's a big scope. I'm still waiting on a few small upgrades. They are
1. Anarchy Outdoors polished titanium boot shroud with flutes
2. Catalyst Arms - Hammerhead Bolt Knob
3. Tuxedo Precision Rifle Grip
4. Caparison Cheek Piece Pads
Should be here next week and then I'm off to the range to get this bad boy bore sighted and zeroed. let me know what you think.
Cheers.

This is a real step forward compared to previous generations. And for a rifle to start out with, the previous generations were not bad at all.Just got my 2025 Gen 4 Ruger precision rifle. Yes. It is smoother. The DLC coating makes the bold feel less clunky and a bit smootherDo you know if the bolt lift is any smoother than the previous generations?

Thanks.Yes. It is smoother. The DLC coating makes the bold feel less clunky and a bit smoother
I purchased an Anarchy Outdoors Fluted titanium bolt shroud for the RPRThanks.
I wasn't sure if the jerky cocking, due to the cocking piece, was what is improved or just the sliding of the bolt.
I'll swapped with jard trigeger 8oz singel stage. It's butter smooth and light. How are the triggers and are there aftermarkets for them? Has anyone changed a barrel on them?
The Timney trigger on my RPR works really well. I'm on my 3rd barrel, a Krieger 26" and the previous one was a Krieger 24", which they are both a big improvement over the factory barrel. How are the triggers and are there aftermarkets for them? Has anyone changed a barrel on them?
