Sacramento couple fights to get their baby boy back from authorities

I know from a few LE friends, they despise nothing more than CPS. They seem to always go after the one that doens't make much sense, and ignore the lady with 6 kids, 9 cats, 5 dogs and on welfare.

Anything having to do with CPS from any state is instantly insane and totally fucked up. I've seen this same type of thing happen in the past and it's always because some power-tripping CPS agent got bored and knee-jerked the family into total chaos/hell. The simple fact is that these CPS people are drunk with absolute power but the only people they fuck with are the one who are doing the right thing, legitimate kids in danger are seemingly always left in the dangerous spot and end up getting killed or the like. More than likely this family was reported to CPS by the Dr at the first hospital who was ether insulted or didn't know they were going to another hospital (probably the former though) and CPS as they always do, went way over-board. The simple fact is that this kind of abuse happens DAILY, seriously Google it and you'll be shocked how often people are abused by CPS and also how often and how much they pay out in lawsuits after the fact. Anderson Cooper even did a series on CNN on how fucked up CPS is.
I personally only have a few lines in the sand where something is simply not an option no matter what anybody/any-law/etc. says. The above story illustrates one of them.
A friend growing up their family took in special needs kids, and every now and then a CPS person would come and check. They all had one thing in common, FREAKING HUGE FAT women, as in getting winded walking to the door.

The police are still bound to uphold the law. Send CPS in on their own if there is no warrant issued. Fuck CPS in those instances. I can't imagine being a parent in an instance as this was portrayed. I almost have to believe there are some untold facts.
CPS power story trip with my brother:
His 2 youngest kids 3-5 were on his front porch eating a popcicle when this lady came up to the door. My brother (sitting on the couch in front of the bay window overlooking the porch) answered and immediately got laid into by this nosy B. He, being of sound mind, told her to pack sand. 8 hours later a CPS agent shows up at his door and demands to see the kids and to do a full inspection of the house(see if he had weapons out, cleaning chemicals in a locked cabinet, sufficient food in the fridge...). He was sighted for not having his kitchen knife block on the counter, and for child neglect. His 2 oldest kids 15 and 13 were pulled out in the middle of class and questioned for 2 hours. After all of this, the CPS agent made the decision that it wasn't neglect for the 5 year old, but he was guilty with the 3 year old because "it is ludicrous to think that a 3 year old can spend any waking time out of your sight." Mind you that he could SEE his kids from where he was sitting, but they decided to take the word of the spiteful bitch who has never spent a second with the kids.

When my ex and I divorced I was awarded custody of my son. Several years later CPS showed up saying they were investigating allegations of abuse. The CPS worker she intended to substantiate abuse and the court awarded temporary custody to my ex wife. To make this very long story short when we were in court there was a recess. The judge was watching and listening to the conversation going on in the courtroom while my attorney and I were in the hallway and she was in her chambers. Turned out there was no basis and the report was BS. The judge ripped the CPS worker and advised her she had better go back and inform her supervisor she may be facing court actions. She was fired upon my formal complaint filing and I didn't let up there, I went after the supervisor that signed off on it. Arizona CPS apparently had numerous incidents where things were not on the up and up and went through a major overhaul the following year.
CPS in most states has entirely too much power and is staffed by undertrained overworked personnel. This case sounds to be one of the results of the typical CPS agency of today.

But i don't dismiss this as being random or just a case of ineptitude. This is by design to strike fear into people to keep a low profile and not get into trouble. If you combine all the things they do, watch what you speak, watch how you behave, watch what you wear otherwise you'll be thrown into the system... I wonder how certain "minorities" can still keep their kids and are not bullied by CPS&Co and we all know what kind of care they provide for their young ones.

Do not , under any circumstances, let ANYONE in your house without a warrant from a law enforcement agency with powers of arrest. PERIOD. They may show up with law enforcement, but that doesn't mean they can come in unless you give them permission. Once you do, you lose control of what happens next, even in your own home.
You will be tempted to prove that you have nothing to hide and clear your name right on the spot. Don't. CPS can, and often will, STRIP SEARCH your child without you being allowed to be present to look for evidence of abuse. A stranger removing your child's clothes in and of itself is abuse. I say again, do not let these people in your house.

Those police officers should be fired as well. No warrant and took the keys off of the home owner to gain access. That has to be illegal. I really hate to think of how I would react if that was my son. This place is getting scary and almost everyone has their fucking heads in the sand. Police taking children off of parants without due cause, who cares I got my iPhone 5.

Best thing to do is not even open the door. Open a window and talk through the window. it sounds like the doctor was pissed that he was not going to be able to do the surgery. How dare any one question a doctor rite!! and ask for a second opinion. They should go after the doctor full force. I read a little more on this and it appears that the doctor and staff were a bunch of ass hat's.

He may be an asshat, but he didnt forcibly take someone's child from their arms without the legal authority to do so, otherwise known as kidnapping. Its like I have said before, the powers that be may have their ideas, but it takes a law enforcement officer to do the bidding. Bottom line, this story doesn't even happen if these two cops knew their job or respected the limits on their authority. I seriously doubt the fat CPS chick would have got that baby on her own, do you?
The story never happens if the doctor does not make the initial phone call! because the parents did not want to hastily make the decision to go through with open heart surgery. If in fact what I read is trough than she had every rite to go to another hospital. this entire fiasco was set into motion because she had the audacity to question a doctors care! yes it is fucked up on all parts and ALL should be drug into court. I have had doctors tell me I needed this or that and on second opinion found out that what they were saying was B.S.
I was born with a serious back problem. One doctor told my mom (I was 8) that the only chance I had at a normal life would be to do back surgery and basically break my back and fuse 3 of my lower vertebra in place. That would put me in a body cast for up to 8 months and there was a high chance of being paralyzed. The insurance would have covered the entire thing. and it was estimated that it would cost in the 400k range this was in the 80s... Thank god my mom got a second opinion and that doctor said that that was a bad idea because still had a lot of growing to do and a surgery like that would cause more problems than it would solve. You cant tell me that doctors do not do un needed procedures for pay days. the fact that this doctor called basically because she did not entirely trust his motives is wrong and none of this would be happening if the doctor was not an ass hat. he is what got the ball rolling... that does not excuse the actions of the rest of them.

just as there are bad cops bad some one in all professions not all cps works are bad I guess I don't think my wife is bad. With the shit she deals with on a daily basis living next to a reservation I would go crazy, she covers roughly a 400 square mile area. Just today she had to take a 6 year old to get help as he tried to hang him self this week end. The state wont give them money to buy clients lunch so that shit comes out of my pocket when she is transporting people back and forth for visits. She is the first to say there are some bullshit cases like that one in NJ where the kid was taking a picture with his ar and being investigated and people should be losing there jobs over shit like that. She still has a couple kids that she helped graduate from high school and are now in college that call and check in and are beating the odds with the shit bag familys they have. Might be different living in a small town of 3000 as most common sense from the big citys has been lost along time ago.
No way on earth would I ever let ANYONE in my home. Only way they would gain entry is by using force. And then that bridge would be crossed.
The fact LE proceeded, willfully breaking the law. Shows the contempt they have for your rights and the boundless authority they think they have.

Very sad, LE really hurt public support with this display of complete disregard of law and rights.
I'm sure just a few bad apples come now you cannot apply this to all police force...

Some here rather naively believe that most cops (even some cops here swear so) are good but (i believe) sad fact is that in reality even if majority of cops are decent people they will find themselves in situation where they will have this choice on the table-> job/family/food vs no job/starving family/your rights (carefully presented in a way that will offer plenty of excuse to feeble minded or those without character) . Given this choice even the best of characters are tested just ask yourself how far will you go to protect and provide for your family... I don't want to go into percentages but with little imagination you can pretty much estimate how many martyrs and heroes will be among police officers (or any other group) and how many will try to survive at ANY cost.
Check out the thread about Boston bomber how some would hang him high or worse and yet those same people would expect full rights for themselves from others? World doesn't work this way society is ugly business when food/water/misc gets thin. Morals and ethics are a luxury not a norm in SHTF situation.

I don't understand how the cops who did this as well as the CPS "agents" aren't being charged with violent crimes and kidnapping of a minor. The parents are fighting the legal system hellbent on circling the wagons now, God bless them.
It's Sac PD, what do you expect? I know a handfull of them and there's only one I'd trust. Infact, around 6 years ago my wife was contacted by a SPD background investigator because her ex was trying to be a cop. She told them everything (I was standing right there) about how he cheated, lied, was abusive (hit her, threw things at her when confronted with cheating) for over a period of four years. He got hired and still works for the department as far as I know. If those officer's did infact remove the father's house keys from his person to let themselves in, when the smoke clears, hopefully they do not have to worry about wearing a badge ever again.
Based on the reporting...............kidnapping!! (although you can rarely trust what is reported in the press!)
