As I stated, nobody has come forth with information concerning an additional magazine that they recieved. I also include the other information concerning the magazine that you did recieve. I have shipped out well over 300 orders since I started helping people with their magazine, and this has never happened before.

I know the local legal changes have throw a wrench in the works, but, say, for instance, my kid brother BROKE my magazine. Can you still do repairs to previous products, or would that get you into hot water?

He broke it?? How did that happen?? Depending on exactly what broke, I could possibly do the repairs without getting into trouble. PM me some details please.

Did anyone receive an "exta" magazine with their magazine?? I have shipped out 9 requests for multiple magazines, and 12 requests for single magazines. Someone got an extra, and I have no way of knowing who. Can anyone please help me out here?? Thanks!!

I am working on getting a "kit" form for the high capacity magazines for the 243/308 short action family. I don't have any supplies of the BAR magazines to build kits though, as the BAR was too difficult and costly to get my hands on. Hopefully we will be able to continue to help out, but I am not sure if it will work out or not.

They ship mags to cali that are "parts kits." Does your laws have a rebuild provision for preban mags?
Australia is not going to happen. Our two governments think they know what is best for the people, and that is to not allow them to have anything. The expense of the export license is too much for me, even back before the new laws took effect. There is no way that I can do that now, regardless of cost. Sorry.
@cypriss... I am working with a couple of groups that are interested in taking over the magazine conversions. I am trying to see who will be able to carry on what I have started, and be able to keep things afloat. Stay tuned!!

Since that happened I have been compelled to pick up your torch and carry it on. An engineer friend and I are testing a couple designs we've made. Going to take a month or so of hard testing before we offer to the public but you guys can see one of our creations here:

What a rip off send him 2 mags back in May 13th took him over a month to do one mag. Got one back won't even work in the gun second mag is Mia he won't replace the Mags that won't work and will not refund my money. The replacements were ordered the day you got upset about my mixup on shipping out magazines. I admitted there was a mistake, but still have no idea who got the extra magazine. I have sent out messages concerning the last 9 shipments, and still have not found the additional magazine.

The mag is junk it will not fit any weapon unless you grind the glue down and redo it I would think that a man that has been doing these mags would test fit them in a weapon prior to shipping them out so that you are not sending a faulty product. Why would you want it back is illegal to have those mags in your state just like they are illegal in Ca. I checked the law very well. Just want to say thanks for really caring about your fellow shooter and fellow gun owner
I hope you don't mind a bit of friendly competiton. I tossed the idea to couple of guys, and we are working on building a handful of 10 round mags to see if there is still a demand.
On a related note, does anyone know a good place to pick up a quantity of OEM savage .308 mags? Oddly enough that is my present stumbling block... We are still tossed up between offering complete mags, or doing the conversion service as offered by our inspiration, Mr z71rat.

I found all my savage mags on ebay there is a company out of Texas that seems to have a large supply. cheaper than dirt website
I guess this means you're not even able to work on the magazine I sent back to you now? Glad I don't live in Colorado. Anyway even if it doesn't work very well I'll be glad to have it back if you can mail it to me.
I have a theory on the magazine not snapping in, one if mine had the same issue. I think re-doing the glue may fix the issue, but I have not had a chance to test it on my magazine...If I figure out a fix, I'll pass on the info.
I am honoring all the magazines that I have currently inhouse. Getting very close to finishing everything out. You would not believe how many magazines I recieved the last week of June.

I would have to grind all the glue out and move it up about a 1/8 inch then it might be a useable mag I have talked to a few guys on this forum and have said the mags don't hold up under normal use. I wonder how many of your end of the line mag will be up to the test ? Mine sure was not thanks again DKrat

Z71rat is out of business at the moment due to changes in his local laws. Myself and another chap are tooling up to take up the slack. I'm not willing to offer anything for sale until I have it it my hot little hands, but give it a bit, something should break loose soon.
Also, if anyone know where to pick up savage axis mags IN BULK and CHEAP, please let me know.

Sorry, but I am no longer taking new orders. New laws are preventing me from continuing to help out with high capacity magazine conversions. There will be something worked out shortly with some people that don't live in this "California Copy" of a state. Stay tuned.

Hang in there guys, I have built a handfull now and am working the final bugs out. I went shootin the other day, and a nearly perfectly functional magazine is frustrating as hell, so let me refine a touch more.
I did figure a fix for the drooping mag latch issue, so that at least is working. As soon as I figure why my follower occasionally hangs up I can start selling magazines.
I plan on selling them for $100/each, or $65 if you supply the mag. This is slightly less than what my originals cost, and right now I have spent way too much on tooling
I plan on doing a "quick turnaround", if you send me a mag to convert, I will mail one already done. Give me another day or two, we have been very busy figuring this out.

Ok, I believe we have all the kinks worked out. We killed one of the jigs, so we're out of action for a few days, but once that gets re-welded, it should be game on.
If anyone wants my "Scratch and Dents", I'll blow them out for $85.00 (Shipped) I have three (3) that are about 90%, bad paint job or grind marks or other learning experiences.
I also have one "Oops" mag that I'll sell for $60, you have to tap it about 1/4th of the time when the rounds hang. If you're feeling froggy you can try to re-work it, I'll give you my pet theories on the trouble.

I stumbled on this thread a while ago and wish I had ordered one of DK's 10 rounders for my savage axis 308. The 4 round mag is so lame for plinking. I guess I'll just have to keep my second mag loaded on stand by
I would be curious to see some pics of your work. Sounds like you got it goin on... Congrats!! Right now, they people who shall remain obscured from my name calling, have filed a lawsuit to prevent the recall elections that might have saved some of our freedoms. I have no idea at this time, when all of the carp laws will get changed... if ever. Sad state of stupidity here.

You can do that yourself. It is a simple modification, and your Axis will be Accutrigger accurate. Google is your friend!! Bunch of stuff on YouTube about it.

OK, just for further clarification on the laws in this state. I have been in contact with my local authorities, and the laws still seem to be unclear. The magazines that I have in my possession, that have been converted, but not yet paid for, MUST remain in my possession. I am holding them at this time, to see if the recall elections change the stupid laws back to what they were, prior to the current legislation killing off all of their brain cells.

Soooooooooo a few months ago I sent back to you a completed magazine to be worked on because it wasn't functioning well ... and never got it back ... again ... does this mean that you can't even mail it back to me? Do I have to wait until the laws in Colorado change to ever see the magazine again? According to your above stated policy does this mean you're going to send me a stock long action magazine instead? Do you even have one to send me? If you are able to send me back the magazine you made for me without jail time I would love to have it ... even if it only works 2/3 of the time at least I can try to work on it, sell it, whatever. I'm going on close to an entire year now with nothing to show for it. I ordered a 30-06 magazine back in September of last year and still don't have anything. Just wondering thanks.
