Seekins slim rail!

I noticed in a post from about six months ago (http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1707251&page=1) that Seekins was going to be working on a slim version of their quad rail that was produced for Spikes.

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about them?

We are making the first run now. I just sent the samples to spikes and next week we should be in full production on them...

will they be available through Seekins or only through Spikes?

They will be available only thru spikes. Here are some pictures for you

We have the prototypes complete and Tom has a couple. Everything looks good and we should be good to go! The mount up is rock solid just like my proto i built before we ordered the extrusion

To install:
Install barrel nut to specified torque. If piston system is to be used shim barrel nut to align for piston clearance.
Tighten middle set screw. This will spread the internal clamp out just a tiny bit and give more clearance
slide the SAR over the barrel nut until it touches the upper and anti rotation tabs are engaged.
loosen middle set screw
Tighten the 2 side Torx screws to specified torque spec (will specify on instructions)
Tighten middle set screw (this will act as a binder for the torx screws

Glen, I stopped by the shop Thurs. after work to see ya, but you were already gone. Al was still there and showed me a rail and parts you had done. Man they are sweet! The slim rail felt awesome in hand. Please put me on the list for one when they're done, my Nordic upper needs one bad!

We have a complete .308 in the works, but wont be ready untl next year

Whats the ID and the width of the rail?
It would look sic with a JP heat sink under the rail.

Glen,

I've got a permanently attached FH so can I install this rail over an existing delta ring or does this system require it's own barrel nut? Great looking product. Nice work!

It does have its own barrel nut. It is 1.005" Inside diameter.

All I can say is I love my Seekins Lower and the BAR rail is the best feeling rail I have ever held. Love the new stuff from Seekins! Top of the line bad ass products!

what is the longest length u are producing for SPIKES?
IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A CUSTOM ONE--15" or so?

13.2" is the long one.

I did finish my uppers but havnt had a chance to build more than just a couple prototypes. I have some more cnc machinery on the way to help with that.
