Nice to see some common sense left in parenting. And luckily she's in Louisiana, so little likelihood of some twat SJW idiot seeking to crucify her for child cruelty or some other such horseshit.

My GF's son has some troubles and got himself suspended so I sent this to her. She is making him clean and rake leaves all day after homework is done.
She did think some raking of the neighbors yard could be therapeutic as well.
I got suspended a few times for fighting at school. The ass whupping I would of got if I started it I still shudder to think of. I was always defending myself, so my parents had me do my homework, then I could do whatever I wanted. Usually fishing or squirrel hunting once a little older.
The day I threatened to whup a kid's ass and told him what a fat lazy and stupid fuck he was right in front of the teacher for saying something rude and perverted about my mother and got detention my dad bought me ice cream.
I knew what was right or wrong and what happened if I was on the wrong side of the line.
