It gets interesting from about the 3min mark. When they say drugs are bad for you, this guy is what they are referring to. I'm impressed at how professional the Police and Paramedics acted, I don't know if I could have kept that kind of composure if put in the same situation. I saw parts of this on on the comedy channel but I though the full video would be more interesting to some of you.

Why not? At no point in time was he doing anything besides talking really - the whole strapping him down and taking him away is retarded - best thing to do would be to just have a shrink sit there with him till the effects ended

Re: Shroom Trip

Restraining was little extreme for someone peacefully tripping on shrooms, but if you've ever watched a bad trip, or have had the misfortune of coming across someone at the time peacefully tripping on pcp, or any other similar drug or combo, they were right to restrain. When that peaceful experience changes for the worse, things hit the fan.

The human body has some odd abilities and reactions. Just as people sometimes accomplish superhuman feats upon large amounts of adrenaline, so can the human body react in similar and other ways under different drug reactions.

So long story short, yeah, peaceful trip doesn't require restraining, and can be very very funny. However, unpeaceful trip and they'd be praying they had restrained him.

On a side note, when bored one night youtube about british soldiers and their experiencing with LSD.

Cheers

No shit.

The kid wasn't harming anyone. Even when he got loud, he was already strapped down.

What would you have done, dadzic? Start screaming at him, freaking him out even more? Start punching him? Jeez...

Hopefully you don't ever become a medic.

Re: Shroom Trip

Now heres a pack of them on alcohol.

How about that.

Re: Shroom Trip

Of course not. He was not being violent and perhaps they did not need to restrain him. However, (and I know this sounds bad)but I don't know if I would be able to keep a serious face during the entire situation but I guess it's different when you are actually there and wearing a uniform. I also don't want to be a medic because I really don't have the stomach to deal with the things that they see on daily basis.
