Matt K if you need a partner you know how to reach me, just give me a good long heads up its a long flight from South Korea! Happy shooting fella's </div></div>

Daps! Glad to hear from you brother. You'll be the first to know if I do the land nav competition. It would be great to shoot it with you. BTW, we are trying to get things firmed up for NZ. The outfitter is busy right now, so no firm date yet. I hope you and the family are doing well in S. Korea. How is everyone adjusting?

I have wanted to do this for a while, I have a bunch of 4x4 and 6x6 steel we can use, we should talk about it the next time we get together and shoot!!!

Re: SHWW Group

JC give me a call, we definetly need to get out and shoot. I will pm you my number, or you can get it from JD.

Yep, need to get something going for the 22's. Sun targets on Hwy 24 was doing a sporting 22 thing last year. I will see if that is still going on. Maybe we could use their facilities as a host? I will talk to the vice president this week about it. There membership rates are through the roof, but might be able to talk them into a discounted rate for just a 22 class. They currently hold some ISPCA and 3 gun shoots out there.

Need to make this happen.....fills the time between TSI's shoots.

Thats bullshit, I really do not know which one it is. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: SHWW Group

A buddy of mine and I have wanted to organize a .22 match here in wenatchee for a while. I would love some help/motivation to seal the deal anyone interested in pooling time and resources to make it happen should PM me. Cheep, fun, good training, an easy in to precision shooting. Sounds like a no-brainer. There should be one a month!

We have a ton of 22 steel at the NCW Gun Club if that helps out your mission.

Re: SHWW Group

For those interested in the Oregon TriCounty match, here's what the range looks like. I think the longest shot for precision rifle is 725 yards.

Thank you--this site came highly recommended (was shopping for a scope for my 5R), then I started browsing... The shoot 'n move competitions are enticing; I'd like to try an make the next one (and sharpen my skills in the mean time).

Re: SHWW Group

It does indeed. I'm not a member up there (I know, I know), but using the range and steel up there would great. I guess I'd need some input on stages, times, just planning in general.

Well, first and best thing to do would be to become a member and come get an idea of what the range has to offer...membership is a measly $65/year. Contact myself or JimThePlumber or 1911fan (all on the BOD) and we'll get you pointed in the right direction.

Re: SHWW Group

I've been doing some recon and found several good areas on overheads that might work out to 1K within 30 minutes of Silverdale. I'm hoping to get out later this week or next and do a drive-by of the areas. When I get the time, is there anyone close by that would be willing to lend me a range finder so I can range the areas and see what kind of distances I can get us?

Also, would those in Kitsap hit me up with a pm. I want to make a list so I can see about doing large get togethers on this side of the water...

Guys, drop me a PM if you get something together for the Yakima area.

Awesome. Thanks Mike. I'll pm you when I've got a date set for scouting. Since it's snowing it'll probably be next week sometime.

You do not have to be a member of ether one, this is just for our information. The Gun Club hoist this match, so members of NCW gun club get a $25.00 discount, PRS shooters do not get a discount.

Re: SHWW Group

Hey guys,

Been a member of SH for quite some time. Just never realized there was a Western Washington Group here. Good to see I'm not alone .... LOL.

I live in Bremerton and shoot at the Poulsbo Shooting Club (most of the time .... paid for a membership), or over at the Kitsap Rifle Range (occasionally). I've already chatted with a couple of your guys and finally heard about this thread.

Re: SHWW Group

I just told Jim.... he's working on fixing the problem.... but yeah, in the mean time, just check the box, and get your entry in... it may be full, in the time it took me to type this....

Re: SHWW Group

Broker,

I got my monopod today in the mail. Pretty damn slick. I ended up getting the QK model. It's great, adjust without having to screw it up and down. Unfortunately, my scope is jacked up. So, gotta send it back to Vortex. It's a Crossfire and pretty positive I don't want them to send me another Crossfire. May end up biting the bullet and upgrading to a Viper.

I'll get in touch when I get the new scope. We can get together and shoot sometime.

By the way, do you know anyone with a range finder? I'd like to set up some targets out to 500-600 yards. There's some decent areas up near Quilcene just off highway 104. Just don't have the range finder to get a distance for the targets.

Jcvibby,

I was supposed to go to Cle Elum tomorrow, I would have taken you up on that. But, the meeting got called off and they rescheduled do to weather.

I'm borrowing a range finder on Tuesday to scout out some areas west of Belfair and North of the Hood Canal Bridge. If you want maybe on Friday we can go out that way since Quilicene isn't far from one of the areas I'm scouting out.
