Seriously, EVERYONE just drop it or we'll have five pages of this.

This will be my first "real" piece of kit. Let's get back into how awesome it is turning out to be. I look forward to when those who have one in hand post up picks. Tickles my sack just a little...:)

I agree Bizill..this is my 2nd SWFA scope (1st being the incredible HD 1-4X24) and will be the most I've ever paid for glass. I'm just psyched that we were all given this opportunity and 6 months or even years from now we'll be telling people how we
"stole" this scope for a measly $1k

BTW, now I just need to wait and see if they add HD glass/illumination to the 3-9X42!

I've been following this thread since I first heard of it, I got about 60 friends to 'like' snipers hide, even some females that if they had to pick up a rifle, they would hold it like they were touching an aids infested dildo with a used syringe from a tweaker jammed in it. I didn't think to many people were bitching (just my assumption I got through reading). They just want to know. Knowing is half the battle

Inflection and tone get lost through a typed message. I did notice more people are bitching about the people who are bitching about not knowing. I also hope this doesn't leave a bad taste in the mouths of the people who made this possible (Lowlight and the people of SWFA). I'm grateful of this and it'll be here in good time (as said by Lowlight). I'm even happier that this has been designed for us end users. I think it would be cool to have a SWFA SS HD 5-20x50 picture thread to see all of the set ups that people use this for. I'm debating on swapping this out for the nightforce that sits on my badger rifle. I'll know when I get it in my hands. Again, thanks Frank and thanks SWFA.

For those who have a hard time following this thread, 'watch' it, then have email notifications sent to your email that is synchronized to your smartphone. To easy. If you don't have a smartphone, get with the time...you can afford a $1,000 scope, but not a smartphone?

i know frank had said something about swfa calling before shipping. is that to verify the money is there? I think i saw some others sayin the same thing. I dont remember putting my phone number in to my account at swfa. i did go back an look but didnt find it. i dont have a lot of time to be on the net being in iraq. which gets to my point of swfa not reaching me when they call. how important is this "call"?

Lowlight and SWFA a Big Thank You for doing this!!! I am at the end of the list I am sure, but it will get here when it gets here. My rifle won't be here untill the end of the week and I have some work to do to it when I get it. If it takes a month or two to get my scope that is fine I am not in a hurry.

I can't speak for anybody except myself, but I am INTENSELY anticipating this scope's arrival to the point that I might let my front lawn go so that I can hide next to the sidewalk for the UPS man.

Until I start seeing posts with pictures or range reports from forum members, I'm going to forget about this scope for 23.5 hours each day. The remaining half hour will be spent reading this thread and looking through JonA's site.

Thank you to Frank and SWFA for putting on this group buy. It has saved Sniper's Hide members tons of cash and also has been a lot of fun to be a part of. This is the first deal like this I have ever got caught up in.... and I really had fun trying to convince everyone I know to "like" SH on Facebook. I enjoyed watching the likes get to 5000 and then ordering my scope. I am really excited about the scope which I am confident will be well worth the money. This whole deal has been a real positive and I hope everyone remembers that.

I too am curious how many scopes sold on the group buy...although I realize that is SWFA's business and none of mine.
I am just wondering how much money Frank saved all of us here. Think about it....if it was 250 scopes that sold on the group buy then that right there would be $125,000 Frank saved SH members....

Thanks for the answer amidst the schoolgirl drama. I actually prefer the setup luppy has on their illumination as if you ever needed to mill in low light or at night, but hopefully I will have a PVS 27 here soon so that will be a mute point! I have found though that for hunting, the center dot is superior to the whole crosshair lit, especially for varmits as I night hunt for coyotes alot. I have two on order due to the good reviews here. Thanks Frank and SWFA for allowing this.

Regarding the SWFA SSHD Group Buy, the 1st Shipment is in TX and SWFA will be getting orders from that shipment as quickly as possible. So without everyone contacting them, just wait to see if you get contacted. My understanding is more than 1 shipment is required to fulfill orders so please don't bother them with the same dumb questions over and over, if you are on the list they will call you.

J.C.... can you say 21 hours ago? sorry all. back to your regularly scheduled state of paranoia.

Yep, got a call from Chris today and picked it up this afternoon. I believe that i'm the first person(normal person) to get my hands on one. Haven't had the chance to really go through it, but the glass looks good and it feels very solid. Hope to get to the range sometime tomorrow if I can get my work done early enough tomorrow.

Big thanks to SWFA!! They spent about an hour with me today when I went in to pick it up. They even got out one of every sunshade they had trying to find one that would work. 2 fit, but nothing looked right, so I just decided to wait. He did say that they got quite a few mailed out today, so you guys on the short list should be receiving yours very soon.
