afraid you are right. if some such were to happen,the willingness to take casualties would be the crux. muslims,chinese and cartels have never shown any concern about that. americans have,even in ww2. grid will be the first death with no power,no transport,no logistics,no help.
civilian/non combatant loses would be in the millions. also,could be a hostage like thing. the invaders have scant non combatants and have never given a shit about them. we have seen their orgy of murder,rape,pillage recently. multiply x 1000s.
even if US military helped,and they wouldn't,it wouldn't matter. look at ME and VN actually lost to much less sophisticated foes. killed a lot of civs but we were trying to avoid that mostly. not happening in this dooms day scenario.

Anyone know what "their" end goal is? On that note, anyone know who "they" are? I have my own theories but I'd like to hear what other's think. I think it's obvious that the destruction of America is a short term goal but what happens after that, what's the END goal for "them"?

It's simple. Study history. Turn the clock back to what was going on a few hundred years ago in England and Europe..you had kings and some Dukes (the elite) everyone else was poor and barely getting by (the serfs). The serfs served the elite and were grateful for their daily bowl of porridge.
