Ok. Let me start by saying, I prefer 40s&w over 9mm for several reasons but that is a debate for a mile long, pointless thread that just will end up with hard feelings and butthurt.
So over the past several years with the PCC uprising, and everyone 9mm this...9mm that..., I have often read the 9mm was far more popular among the shooting community. I had even read articles and commentary believing the .40 'would soon die'. (Haha). Fast forward a year or two and now you're lucky to find a 9mm case on the range let alone 9mm ammo that you don't have to trade your left nut for.
Low and behold, .40 cal is still somewhat available at decent prices. .40 bullets are pretty available, etc. Maybe now the .40 will get the recognition it deserves.
