He also mentions the American Indians, again, commonly accepted as “indigenous” but are they really? Just cause they were here for several hundred years? Who did they annihilate? There is very little documented history of native Americans being here for thousands of years. Yes “people” have been in North America for a long time, but some current “Native Americans” or “indigenous” people have dna that’s traceable to Asia. Anyways I digress and don’t know enough of the subject to go much further anyways.

I read the article and I came away with the same opinion. The people of Palestine aren’t indigenous anymore than the Jews are. How far do you go back into a territory’s history to say who is indigenous to that land? I found the author’s premise to be flawed and biased which kinda threw me off of his point.
It's just an ethic conflict that's been burning for generations and I'm tired of my country being dragged into it.
