Shot the low end of my load workup at 300 yards today. Very bright late winter day. Fresh snow field in front of the shooting benches. Had some down time between shooting strings so I left a message for the VN vet Marine that chairs the 300 yard range.... Sighters. 5 rounds loaded at 39.3, 39.4, 39.5, 39.6 and 39.7. I have no idea which is which. Came up .5 mil before shooting my 5 shot strings. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/i1005.photobucket.com\/albums\/af178\/pmclaine\/P3167353_zpszel51ul9.jpg"}[/IMG2]

39.4 with four rounds in about a .33 group has me impressed but I think I may be at the low end of a sweet spot there. Probably better going 39.5 and having some fat either side to keep me on target?

Rifle is getting the bore soaked in Hoppes for cleaning. I miss my other guns. Havent shot any but this one since December. Time to share the good times with some of the others.

More for next year, and the year after, and after. I wish you many years after

I'm guessing you have to watch for bears in your area.
