All about the

"The medical center’s actions, they claim, caused the family severe emotional distress and a loss of enjoyment of life."
</div></div>
You wouldn't be emotionally distressed and without enjoyment of life every time you look at your child who was illegally and immorally and unethically treated for an issue which didn't exist, at the potential cost of the freedom of the parents- especially when they know that actually defending their helpless child against the despicable US Medical Industry (TRULY all about the money) would have resulted in abduction of the child by the state?
You're neither human nor American. How's it feel to be a robot, slave? </div></div>
Get a clue. You have partial details on a very complex chain of events. You are calling yourselves to arms over this biased internet report in an anti-traditional medicine blog. Yeah, I'm the robot.
I have seen this all play out before. There are many potential assumptions that can inferred by the mere fact that Child Protective Services had these people "on their radar."
But thats a discussion that would be reserved for people who posses the ability to understand the situation as described. You are the type of poster who caused me to erase an entire explanation, because you are unable to consider how a chain of events likely played out, and you assume that this "victim" was mistreated. You have, not the slightest clue, so say whatever you want. You aren't worth the time it takes to tap letters on my iPad. </div></div>
Not so much: I was already following this story outside of that website.
This is the crowning of socialized medicine. This is the amalgamation of socialized medicine with socialized issues of "child protection". I mean, God, how on earth did this country function prior to CPS sticking its witch's nose into the family life of law abiding citizens and protecting the chil'rens from the evil parents who hold back (unnecessary) medical care?

There are some sources for a less agenda driven story.
I've already experienced socialist medical models in the military and VA- both of which I do not use despite full access.
Edit to add:*We have already seen such instances unfold in the EU, where parents who wish to have greater control, aside from the state, and outside of its made-up boundaries, are castigated to the fringes of societal opinion for merely wishing to raise their children without undue, injurious socialist tenets of life.
Per Dr. Ben Kim's website, we read the following:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Vitamin K shots are routinely administered to newborn babies because <span style="font-weight: bold">1.8 out of every 100,000 babies who do not receive vitamin K injections suffer permanent injury or death due to uncontrolled bleeding in the brain</span> that may be the result of having extremely low levels of vitamin K in their systems.</div></div>

1.8 in 100k? No indication of true need per conflicting doctor reports in this case?
Indeed, IF the situation were life and death, neither the social worker, nor the parents would generally have a call on it. Dire medical necessities generally don't drag on for a time period with social worker interaction. So, if this was necessary for the health of the child- why ask the parents? Hrmmm?
Indeed, the onus is on the medical industry to show why refusal of a "routine" and definitely unneeded routine were foisted upon the family at the behest of an ignorant, untrained, and socialist-minded affirmative action hire (and really, have we ever known, in recent times, a social worker who wasn't a total AA hire? Not really).
Also, from when do you find the demarcation of tradition to be starting with mandatory (and generally unnecessary) Vitamin K shots? No, this blog isn't anti-traditional medicine, it's in all likelihood anti-modern medicine, as modern medicine is more about profit than care. Modern medicine is also habitually unethical and downright immoral.
I'll take my chances away from the little Mengele disciples, thanks.
As for "posters like me", grow a pair, Nancy. Either put forth your argument or shut the fuck up about how erudite your esoteric knowledge of logic, reason, and medicine is- claims of superiority with no evidence otherwise are more errorudite than anything.
