Sidearms & Scatterguns Stolen colt recovered!

Hey guys not to informative on any area. But just feelin good about the news I got this morning sheriff called this morning and my colt 380 government model was found ONE YEAR an a half LATER! I'm pumped and always report stolen firearms give it time and be patient. Just be a matter of time till it burns a hole in a thirds pocket to pawn it.

Just had to give hope to anyone else who had a firearm stolen

That's awesome hopefully you get it back though. I know of some handguns recovered that we're not returned. Hopefully your sheriff will return it.

Recovery is usually quite a distance from return. Understandably, if there are charges pending that involve the firearm, it will remain in evidence until the legal system no longer needs it. After all that, then you can have a chance at it's return.

I had a glock 17 stolen in WA and found in less than 6 months in fresno california during a traffic stop wherethe officer smelled marijuana, found a lot of it and my pistol under the seat., that was 3 years ago, still calling the evidence room every couple of months to find out the prosecutor has his head up his ass and not sure what he wants to do.

I didn't mean to dampen your enthusiasm on your pistol's return...at least you have a hope of seeing it again some day. Prior to it's recovery, you didn't even have much of a hope that it would be returned some day.

So leadbullet, the Fresno PD had your Glock, knew it was your Glock (they called you about it right?), and still destroyed it? Sorry commie bastards, that pisses me off worse than having a gun stolen! And I have had one stolen (if anyone has a lead on a 45 LC, five shot, Taurus?)!
