From what I understand inert (blue) projo 20mm ammo is not DD. HEI, HEI-T, etc. is, ie. $200 per stamp per round if you can find it.

Re: Suppressed 20mmAnzio

I can't speak on the 20mm, but the same rifle chambered in 14.5 Russian has got to be one of the lightest-recoiling centerfire rifles I've ever shot. With the can on, it was stupidly quiet.

Any updates?

I'd like to know if this thing is accurate at distance with those rounds.

Where do you buy ammo for this thing?

Or heck, just bullets, brass and primers? Is there a decent source (good availability) that won't charge bloated prices?

Anyone shot the 20/50 Anzio yet? Same questions on ammo availability and accuracy for that one as well.

isn't anything bigger than .50 a DD. $200 per round atf stamp?

Gun & Can are NFA. Ammo is not (you can't get the explosive ammo that would be NFA).

What Anzio guys said:

Only explosive ammunition is $200 tax per round and this isn't available to civilians.

All other are not DD.

Blue tip practice ammo is available in quantity for $11 + shipping - these are aluminum tip with a hardened steel body - not AP but better than standard ball.

Tracer is available for $16 each, only a few hundred left.

API is now very rare and not currently available.

AP is rare but still available but expensive at $50 per round + shipping with limited quantities remaining.

Thanks for the inquiry,
Mike @ Anzio

Case of more money than sense IMO but hey, different strokes for different folks.

It isn't for everyone; if you don't have a place to shoot it, aren't strong enough to carry it or can't afford the ammo, you probably should move on to something else.

That said...

Shoot whatever makes you happy. Just don't knock the next guy for choosing something different from the norm to have his fun. :)
