SWAT - Sniper Weaponry Advanced Target

Hey guys,
I played around in my CAD program to design a new target, and this is what came out.
What do you all think about it?

Here are some specs:
12” x 12” water-cut body plate and 8” laser-cut head plate made out of ½” AR500 steel
Head and body move independently of each other, making it easy to confirm a head or body hit
Target’s main structure is protected by the 12” x 12” water-cut body plate
Main structure made out of AR200 and A500 steel
½” rebar legs and arms, which are easy and inexpensive to replace in case of multiple hits and work as a suspension for longer target life
Easy assembly and disassembly
Stand’s four point contact creates maximum stability

I would be happy for some commends.

Looks like the same target used in the magpul vids.

Sure it dose. Do you know where to get one of the targets used in the video you posted? I would like to compare this target with mine.

Magpul used the sniper target that's listed at the bottom of this page.

That looks like a pretty nice target. My dumbass would shoot and break the chain on the first shot.

BTW - how do you keep your target so clean ?

Pictures were taken prior to shooting. Now after a few hundred rounds they look different

Here's one I made earlier! Although to be fair I think yours has the edge on the mounting system... Its great to smack that top plate at 800 yards and beyond for sure.

What CAD program do you use and do you just send the dimensions to a laser cutter or make a stencil then cut?

@ Aussie,
I use AutoCAD. The target plates are from a vendor. I only used the AutoCAD for the frame work.

i have found old fire hose to have better durability than chains for attaching targets

I make them in my shop. Right now they are in the test phase at the local range, local SWAT unit and my private house range. I need to know how the frame construction holds up before I make further plans.
