Rifle Scopes SWFA-SS Tax Day Group Buy: 1-6, 5-20, and more!

Ordered combo right after the 10,000 promo went live

Order Number: 190642
Ordered on: 5/21/2012 10:07:58 PM

Just got an email for credit card decline (expiration date? might've been my card that was compromised and cancelled last year) so it appears they're shipping the combo orders now.

You guys that are still waiting for the 1-6, I can't wait for you to get it because you sure are going to like it!! No it's not absolutely perfect, some of you want "daylight bright" but that isn't in the cards. I guess that is just something that is very difficult to pull off. So I don't think they intended it to be "daylight bright". I'm not concerned with it, but I just don't want guys who are to fly off the handle. If you payed attention since the beginning you would know it was not intented to be so called "daylight bright". I think those that were hoping it would be will like this scope anyway, it is going to be so useful in different fields or intentions.

highstepper, no, it was over a long long long time ago. But trust me, if its the 1-6 you are intersted in I think it is well worth the full price of admission, if not more. I guess the 2 best scopes with SWFA stamped on them are the SS HD 5-20 & now the SS HD 1-6. I have not handled the 5-20 so I can't know if it is built as well as the 1-6 seems too me to be. But if the 5-20 is, and I honestly don't know, then the 5-20 has to be a hell of scope too, IMO. But I understand that the SS HD 1-4 is built pretty good too.

So do you think that SWFA will have another promo for tax day this year? I haven't seen a thread this long since seeing posts on what brand truck do you prefer. Sounds like the scope is worth it, sorry to hear about the issues in getting them.

^ just call them, SWFA, and order to your 1-6x order. A set is about $15. If you need a mount they have the good precision mounts too, like BOBRO.

Thanks I will give them a call about the caps. I already have a the low slightly forward bobro mount now I just need the scope. I ordered on 5/21/2012 at 9:17 PM so it looks promising that I may be getting my scope soon.

I know it's probably a long shot now, but the user on here I that initially contacted me about selling his 1-6x has canceled his order, much to my unappreciation and disappointment. Is there anyone who took part in the group buy who is willing to part with the 1-6?

Please send me a PM. Thanks.

that stinks, but i cant imagine you'll find any takers. at this point, anyone waiting a year for the scope probably intends to use it.

Zeroed 1-6 at 100 yards today. I used 1" black dot on paper. At 100 yards the the dot is visible and clear. The open center of the mil scale allows a precision alignment on the target dot. The dot in center of reticle covers up the target dot precisely and I knew when I had it, especially when I tried it with illumination on. When that tiny red dot filters over the 1" black target dot and makes the black disappear you know you got it........ Hold onto that moment and squeez

It works
