don't get me wrong - i'm glad they are shipping... but these seem to be going out in a really slow trickle. I thought it was implied that they would be sending these out in good-sized batches?

probably you are correct, however, without an authoritative comment from SWFA this is hard to judge when we don't know:

1.) # of orders placed
2.) % of people who ordered monitoring this thread
3.) % of people who ordered monitoring this thread taking the time to post pictures or order details

Yeah who knows? Could be non promo deal people who've been ordering all this time are getting 1st priority, even if they ordered a minute ago. But I kind find that hard to believe thats the position we promo people are placed. But all I can tell is that so far only the pre-promo people have been getting them, which is only right. Seems like a trickle as they come in.

Makes me wonder how long does it take to mass produce a batch of scopes? One scope? I have no idea. Seems like once they get going they would pour in, but I have no idea what it takes to get a scope out. Oh well......

One minor complaint...I received no paperwork whatsoever for the scope (ie. operating instructions and warranty/registration). Anyone else have same issue. Scope looks darn nice from preliminary lookover. No turret covers for the windage and elevation turrets but I think that was addressed earlier. SWFA logo cover on other turret.

i29 - none of the other SS scopes I have purchased have come with any paperwork. As far as warranty, I have never needed any kind of card for a warranty claim.

Thanks Casey. My first SWFA and first illuminated. I've had a little time to play with it now and I must say I am very impressed. I complained a little early on about customer service (communication) and it is water under the bridge now. From what I can see, this scope is worth the wait. I think everyone will be very happy with it.

OK, getting better acquainted now. Scope just barely clears Matech Buis with Bobro mount and can be mounted where wanted. I like this scope....A LOT. Illuminated reticle is outstanding.

I was referring to the next batch of customers (IE, those who ordered the combo).

In no way was I implying that I'd get one before the people who ordered *just* the 1-6 or pre-ordered the 1-6.

I imagine I'll be among the first in that batch that get shipped, which is why I said I'd post when my order status changed. Either way, I'll post when my order status changes so we can help order tracking.

Yeah, looks like they're only just into the first few minutes of 1-6 group buy 5000 code orders to be shipped. I ordered after 40 minutes of it going live. Maybe I'll get mine next batch, maybe not. You're not the only one who has been skipped. I'm #18818x on 4/26 at 12:19 pm. No notification for me and my account still has it listed as back-ordered. I was alright with the entire waiting process but it is rather frustrating now seeing people who ordered after me getting scopes.

yeah my CC expired during the long wait, but changed it last month . was worried it was going to put my order further back in the que but all was ok.

i was hoping people who upgraded to the 1-6 would start selling their 1-4's at a reasonable price as i need another similar scope for one of my wife's ar's.

Unfortunately UPS ground is leaving me hanging and not going to deliver until monday
