I'm not looking to play operator; just need a decent cap for the money and plan to velcro on a patch with a message such as "don't tread on me" or something.

Those mentioned on the subject line are inexpensive and easily available at Amazon, where I buy a bunch of other stuff, so can anyone tell me if one is better than the other?

1) You need velcro panels on a ball cap of a military color.
2) Dont put anything on the panels, leave them empty.

<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">Option</span>:</span> Maybe just a subdued American flag patch to prevent fratricide when operating at night with other "operators" that are employing night vision optics, otherwise leave the patch panel blank.

When I first clicked this thread, I knew this was going to happen!!! haha, funny shit!!

Word of advice MG 70, you really have to pay attention to the type of questions you're asking. You might as well have asked for "tactical" socks or "tactical" wife beaters... they're just socks and beaters man. And it's just a hat.
