I have had my xray51 for right at a month, still cant get over the fact i finally have it, went to the range last sat and finally got some trigger time with her, those rifles are a dream to shoot!! I know your going to enjoy yours as much as I do mine.. enjoy brother!!

I love the Tango 51's versatility. These rifles are nothing short of a piece of art. One of the great things about Tacops is the fact that mike is such an awesome guy to deal with. I've spoken with him multiple times and he consistently treats me with the upmost respect. I am really wanting to have him build me an x-ray 66. Btw, great looking Tango!!

I've been remiss in posting a range report. I finally got it out for a decent run about 2 months ago. Beautiful sunny day in VT. I have a 200m range on my property so I was shooting 100m and 200m targets. The following is a reflection of the quality of Mike's work and I would normally hesitate to post a statement like this (because of likely abuse!). At 100m I could see flies on the target through the scope. After zeroing in I could literally drop rounds on top of them with this rifle. It really is a work of art. In the British Army, we used to say the L96A1 made average shooters great, this rifles makes average shooters unbelievable.

All right, stop teasing and show us the pics of the flies dead bodies ;)
You make it sound too easy; let's make it interesting, the next challenge will be to "clip" the wings off the flies, so we can all start asking ourselves why we do not have a Tac-Ops yet.
Lucky man, have a great time with your new rifle.
Good shooting.

Tac Ops

Just a front rest and rear sandbag

That is gorgeous!!! But holy shot group BAT Man!!! My GAP is supposed to be a .5 gun, the best Ive achieved is .75 was that target shot in a fixture? If not that is one hell of a shooter!

No fixtures are used to shoot the targets that Tac Ops’ encloses with the rifles. Mike Rescigno uses a simple rest with sandbag at the fore end and a rabbit ear-type sandbag at the rear. All Tac Ops rifles are accuracy-certified this way. Mike shoots a group, then encloses it with the respective rifle as proof of what the rifle will do with Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr. ammunition.

Looks very nice. Congratulations on your new rifle.

I saw earlier range cardboard from a tango and of course I couldn't tell how many shots were fired, the group was so small. Thank you for showing the writing with the details.
