No experience with the new Huxwrx printed suppressors, but the old OSS HX-556 shifted the POI so much I have to use it on designated rifles that they never come off of. The Surefire RC2 Socom 556 has minimal shift and therefor finds itself on more of my rifles. Also have the OSS HX QD 7.62 and I have the same issue. Just because of this issue I won't buy another Huxwrx/OSS suppressor. I would like a KAC suppressor or two to go on my KAC rifles, but I never see them for sale.

it was hard to give up the 3.1 when the mod 2's came out , i did put the 4 to good use on another build since you can tuck a suppressor inside of one

when i bought that suppressor it was one of the shorter , lighter 308 offerings available. compared to what's available nowadays it's just long and heavy , but like the m4 2000 and mini 4 it's built like a tank and can take some abuse
it found a good home being on a dedicated suppressed upper. it's length and weight are no longer a factor and it's an awesome can for 300 blk
looking at that picture again i just realized that was my first ar , it was a factory 7" kitty kat gun. it has had several different uppers over the years but i think it's found it's final configuration

my SDN6 is still intact, but sent my SD back to the new PSA-owned AAC to get the Ranger 7 restoration/modification. I’d already had the 51T mounts cut off and converted to hub mounts, but sent that, and my OG TiRant 45 in as well for a re-core…both got new factory warranties too.

the original ss baffles were still good, but the aluminum baffles were toast; so pitted from literally 10s of thousands of rounds over the years, I didn’t feel safe shooting it any more.
Funny story, well, funny now in retrospect…hell when it was happening…that Tirant can was actually back at AAC waiting in the queue for a recore when Remington went tits up. Took several months to get it back. Nothing was done, but at that point, I was just happy to get it back. Having the opportunity to get it recored by the new AAC was a huge relief for me.
If you do the Ranger 7 conversion, yes….everything’s swapped but a small ring of metal with the serial number from the original can. Turnaround time for me was about one week.
Leave it be! Just get a bootleg carrier. Keeps the gas way down.i think i need to get one of those new flow through type suppressors
Can you elaborate why? As in why get a bootleg BCG? What benefits have you noticed sir?
The bootleg carrier has an adjustment for running suppressed. Much like an adjustable gas block but it won't seize or be hard to adjust.
but if i just get a bootleg carrier then that negates the need/WANT of a new 5.56 can , and with a flow through can i might be able to keep the kac sandcutter carrier in there for cool dude points
