I have the 4-14 and like it alot. But all this spamming is kinda turning me off to arken.
Give the scopes to some knowledgeable people and let them do what testing they can and then

With all the activity, I went and looked at their website a little more carefully and red through a few available threads. on different forum.
It will be interesting to see how this develops. The 4-14x44 seems to be a version of the same basic OEM design that has been around for about 15 years. It started out as a piece of manure, but got a lot better over time. It's been sold by a bunch of different brands over the years (Falcon, PA, etc).
The other two look a little more interesting. I can't quite tell if those designs are shared with anyone else. FOV looks good. Turrets seem to be their own. Perhaps, like a few other people, they add their own turrets to an existing OEM design. It is hard to tell.
On a different forum, someone claimed they own their own factory in China that only makes their stuff. I find that doubtful with three scope models, but who knows.
To summarize:
They sent one to Frank. That's a plus. We'll get something factual out of that. They also sent one to Rex. That's a minus. Cooky chinese marketing is also a minus. Then the owner of the company (I assume) chimes in, which is a plus. And he quotes Jocko Willink which is probably a plus as well. The appeal to military collegiality usually works, so that's just good marketing.
All in all, we are sorta back to ground zero, so the product gets to stand on its own merit. I looked at my schedule, but I don't think I can add anything new until spring some time.
If they are at SHOT, I'll stop by.

I'm not sure who advised you on your "guerilla marketing" campaign strategy, but you are going to get a lot of negative reactions specifically because of it.
There is a good market for low cost quality scopes that offer a lot of value for the money, and a lot of people are looking for that.
However if your marketing is hard to distinguish from the rest of every Chinese knock off brand "marketing campaign" and you are acting just like them in your "marketing", you are going to be working against your own brand.
I would suggest that you do a rethink of your marketing strategy in regards to your introducing your products on shooting enthusiast forums.
My guess is that there is a number of folks on the forum here who could have laid out a simple straightforward plan to introduce yourself, your company and your products in an organized, clearly communicated, confidence inspiring way that would have been much better received.
No better way to taint a possibly decent product than by shilling the crap out of it.

Well not everyone can see signature lines as most people turn that preference off while some people can only see them when on computer but not when they are on mobile device.
You also may want to research just who and what Koshkin is/does for a living as he is the exact type of optics professional that members here turn to for optics opinions/comments.
So per your Signature you are a "Dealer/Wholesale Accounts" of Arken Optics and Hancock Armory...just for those that have signature lines turned off.

I've just watched it, hopefully they will start making Scr style reticles for regular folks.
For Arken, you can always contact me. I deal directly with the man that owns the company. I get the prototypes, I test the coming products, etc. User ArkenOpticsUSA can also answer many of your questions.
I don't mess with the marketing side of things, so I can't speak on that, but I will definitely address it with the owner. (your user name question)
As far as those complaining about the reticle, I'll state it again. There are more coming. Grids, however you may feel about them, are the current trend, are incredibly popular, and are incredibly useful. They are NOT for everyone. Nothing is. There are MOA and simpler reticles coming as we gather feedback.

I dont think anyone is saying grid reticles are bad. I shoot nothing but grids. But compare milxt or skmr or mpct to whatever that thing is with the ranging glob at the top and it's just comical honestly. I'd take a horus first and that's really saying something

it is a very good scope for the money and is on par with other OEM Scopes that are being sold in the $1000 to $1500 range, which is great, it punches above its weight class
The scope I tested, the one sent to SH tracked at 100%, there is no question, it's a sold spec optic and the current batch is working 100% as it is should which is great. That is what scopes are supposed to do, and unfortunately many do not as we see a lot of 2% tracking issues all the time.,
By putting words in my mouth and overhyping a $550 scope, you are doing a disservice to those who want to buy an affordable scope with a solid set of specs.
I am verifying the advertising on this scope currently holds true, the specs on this scope are very good and the cost is incredible when you consider most break out the $1000 to $1500 units first, but coming in at $550 they are opening the door wide, which is very good.
Don't be jerks, everyone, because this is a nice optic for the money, that doesn't make it different just means the company put more features into the product and plan to take less profit, good on them for it.

How is it a "stretch"? I'll admit he didn't say "like" in his video or his post above, but come on. It sure comes across as a thumbs up review. Which isn't an endorsement, it's a statement that it does what it supposed to do and does it well, especially for it's price point.

Why not offer a military or le discount? Or run a sale like everyone else this time of year? It would get more of your optics out their to lead to more reviews and marketing.
Once there are some more reviews with some trigger time behind the optic, I will give it a try. Just right now I cant justify the money until then.
To be fair, you are not the first direct to consumer company that is trying to bypass the middleman and offer a better product to the consumer for less. Maven and Tract are doing something along those lines, except most of their product line is aimed at the hunting market. Tract does have a precision 4-20x50 scope, but that is their only product aimed at the precision market.
I like what Frank had to say about your scope, but I think I'll wait until you have an illuminated version before I take a closer look. I am sorta taking the same approach to XTR3. As promising as that scope is, I really like to have illumination in FFP scope with thin reticles.
As more of these get out, it will be interesting to see how these compare to Meopta Optika6, Athlon Ares Gen 2, Vortex PST Gen 2, SWFA SS Classic and a few others.
I am really happy to see the $500-$1000 segment finally get some attention. I am wrapping up a review of a bunch of fancy scopes, after which I will focus a little further own market.
I already lined up the following: Meopta Optika6 3-18x50, Crimson Trace 3-18x50, Brownells MPO 3-18x50, EOTech Vudu 5-25x50, Tract Toric 4-20x50, Sig Tango 6 4-24x50. I have a few others on hand, but that is the side-by-side. If your scopes competes well with stuff that is 2-3 times more expensive, then that is the approximate range of your competition.

Well i just ordered 2 of them if anyone wants to know how they do let me know its the 6-24x50s i hope they are as good as they seem and honestly if the founder is honest as he seems to be then if they are not I’ll definitely hit him up with any issues and i will bet he will be more then happy to address them.
