Or the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Just checked it out. With the 10X Pentax bino's its clear but with the 25X Scope you can see several of the moons of Jupiter. Quite impressive. Somebody wth the gear take us a photo.

Used my spotting scope last night to view it, pretty cool thing. Saw it tonight with just my own eyeballs, and was able to see the two separate dots of light. Still pretty cool.

Took this last night through the vortex spotter. Pretty cool

I have spent a ton of time outside at night this year. I got an Athlon 20-60 spotting scope and looked at Saturn and Jupiter with it. The last 2 nights have been cloudy but the planets should still be close enough together for the next few days to a week to see them both at once in a scope.

I forgot tonight...beautiful night for it. Last night my libtard neighbors let me use their telescope. My Minox 25x was more clear but it wasn't mounted so the jitter was a bit extreme ;).

    i would, but it's cloudy.

luckily for us, no matter how good i can do with a $250 spotter and cellphone, somebody can do better.
