The Ckye Pod is now going to be available with an Arca Swiss head option. This can be purchased as an option on the standard bipod, or you can buy it as an accessory so you have both the picatinny head and the Arca. The Arca head models will be shipping in February. There are only a few left, so get them while you can.

I was fortunate enough to be an early adopter of the Ckye-Pod. Ckye, the brain child of this, has been prototyping this bipod for a couple years. This is by far the most versatile bipod currently available. It will go from around 4.5" to I am guessing around 19" tall. At the standard height, the width of it is stupid stable!!!

I have been in conversation with Ckye. I am excited what he has planned. I am hoping to get a set of his prototype extensions, that will change the landscape of extensions!!

Compared to atlas and harris it had much more adjustment, was as sturdy as either of them, and in addition has legs that very quickly adjust one handed. You can extend the legs laterally quite a bit to get the bipod low and stable. There is a video out on the bipod that quickly shows some of the features - I will try and find it and put the link here. I am planning on using this for matches this next season. There was clearly a lot of thought placed into this bipod before beginning manufacturing!

It is 445 in their website.

I used it yesterday at a local club finale and it was fantastic. The diversity of what it can do is amazing. Downhill prone stages are easy and then being able to swing with the cant is great. There was one stage that had deep snow, I set them long and punched through and had the ability to engage the targets with my rear bag on the top of the snow. Worked pretty good.

Ive got 2 years on mine. I loved my harris, then atlas, then Sinclair Tactical. They don't compare in any way shape or form to this in use-ablility. 360 deg pan, nearly 180* side to side cant. Height from roughly 4" to 20" (honestly never measured.)

There are other bipods out there that literally advertise 2" of adjustment. That's crazy to me.

Anyway, check them out.

I got one from the first batch and was able to run it at the Cold Bore match last weekend. I am really impressed, I've shot an atlas for a couple years and really like it but you can't even compare the two. The C-P is so much more versatile and smoother to adjust. You'd have to mess with it to really see the difference, but it's like going from 2D to 3D. I will warn you tho, don't play with one unless you want to spend some $:)
There are allen keyed tension bolts to adjust the amount of resistance for both the pan and the tilt.

Just put an order in for batch #2, I couldn't resist.

I'm not 100% satisfied with the Atlas or the Harris bipods. My Atlas recently lost all canting tension, I hate the canting setup of the Atlas bipod. The Harris bipod is very basic and lacks a lot of desired features. The Ckye-pod seems to check all the boxes I need.

I have watched several videos but haven't found an answer so maybe you can answer this. Does it have adjustment to adjust the tension for cant? I want to find out if you can lock it up solid like an LRA or even a Harris with a pod-lok.

Tension is set with an Allen key. So you can't set it on the fly like an LRA or pod-lok. Once you get the tension dialed in, there's not really any reason to change it IMO. I personally don't miss that feature from other bipods.
