The Downfall of America........

Have you ever been around a person who is simply just a screw up ? Ever notice the most screwed up people will give you advice on how to run your life ? The same goes for countries that are screwed up and are being run by screwed up people. Those countries want to go all over the world and tell other countries what they should or should not do. In the mean time those countries are actually worse off than the countries they are trying to control. America, in this case, is the screw up trying to tell two countries what to do. This is the action of a weak person or a weak country. The other countries of the world know this. Rather than knuckle down and make America a leader it's appearing that the plan is to just sit on the couch and try to tell other's what to do.

Why are American Universities not teaching the desired "Skill Sets" ?

According to Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, the reason to build in China is not because of the lower labor costs. If this were the case, Apple could make its phones in even cheaper locations. The main reason, according to Cook, is the skill required in tooling engineering. He claims that the specific skill set is no longer available in the U.S., but in China, the expertise is prevalent.

i point out 5 things and you decide to mention something i didn't even mention? instead of trying to zing someone, how about responding to my points.
It was the very first thing you said.
5% of solar panels are considered hazardous waste. Stop making those 5% with lead and cadmium and that problem disappears.
Solar and wind power can be stored using gravity.
There are 47 years of fossil fuels left. There are 8 billion years of solar energy left.

If everyone would park their car and ride a bicycle or not heat / cool their house the fossil fuel would last longer. Nuke power will be around for many more generations.

Care to quote the 47 year lie?

That is utter bullshit. There is more than that left for us in the US alone. If they cut the bullshit, went 100% energy independence with full on coal, nuclear, NG and petroleum production for us only we would live very cheaply and prosperous for the next roughly century. In that time a viable source of energy will be invented/produced/etc. guaranteed and not the current shit they are pushing that is not up to the task. We went from Wright brothers to the moon in 50 years......you'd have to be on crack not to think viable clean renewable energy will come on line in that next prosperous century. Problem is they can't control a prosperous people and nation.

Interest on federal debt is set to skyrocket, potentially surpassing defense spending by as early as 2025, reported Tuesday.

The federal government made $475 billion in net interest payments in the fiscal year 2022 — which ended in September — up from $352 in fiscal year 2021, according to the Treasury Department. The number exceeds the $406 billion spent on transportation and veterans’ benefits, and is on track to eclipse the roughly $750 billion spent on defense this year between 2025 to 2026, according to CNN, citing financial analytics firm Moody’s Analytics. T. Boone Pickens, the billionaire oil investor turned-renewable energy champion, also invests in water. Which isn't exactly breaking news. His company Mesa Water has been scooping up water rights in the Texas Panhandle for more than a decade. But it's an often overlooked piece of his energy portfolio -- and it's turning out to be one of his smartest bets yet.

damn, Jimmy is hard to follow...
currently import 44% of oil
shift from oil to coal
concentrate our R&D on coal burning and extraction which is safe for miners
increase coal burning, Its clean burning, shift to cleaner burning coal
shift to solar energy and have strict conservation measures
as a last resort only continue to use Atomic power.

Watching a very conservative city being transformed into a liberal stronghold.

“Having a child away at college and having one on her way, it's a sad day for the universities,” said council member Amber Sherrill. “It makes me think a lot about mental health, mental health funding and gun control.”

DENVER — Productivity in the workforce has slowed down to levels seen almost 100 years ago, and long term, this could have big consequences for the economy.
You probably felt that surge of productivity at your own job at the beginning of the OCVID-19 pandemic.
We all stopped commuting and had extra time — time that most of us ended up using to work.

They always say "gun control". I want to ask one face to face and not let them go till I get a "real" answer. If it is a gun control problem why was it not more of a problem before 1960? What has changed, we have stronger gun control laws now then back then, that can not be debated. What has changed.

Great question. The answer you get will depend on the "perception" of the person you ask.
America has changed into a country where the residents can not add 2+2 and get 4. Are they dumb, lazy or just don't give a shit ?.... IDK

I agree oil is a national security asset. Luckily we are self sufficient. However there are 47 years of proven oil reserves left. It would be wise to save the oil for national security and use renewables for electricity.
Friend works on an oil rig. There are 100s of wells drilled and capped off. A certain 1 can supply the US for over 100 years. They know a pocket exists off FL, that could supply the world for over a 100yrs. We have oil.

If true they haven’t proven it for some reason.

They were contracting for BP, who recently sold out, by the way. IDK? If I were a company that sold a product, I doubt I'd want my customer base to know I had unlimited supply of said product, I think instead, I'd want to poor mouth my supply, to drive up the price.
They were doing this while Trump was in office, they were free to operate less regulated and prices were way down, probably why they weren't broadcasting this info. As stated, my info came from within.

600,000 "Got-aways" as a conservative estimate the year so far. So, how many of those will be terrorists and criminals?

I posted elsewhere because but it really belongs here. This has nothing to do with elections, dems, horrible labeling/title.
This is by Schweikert on how irresponsible the government is. Both parties. We are literally borrowing over 43K per second. Not spending, borrowing. We borrowed 1.375 Trillion last year alone, and no it isn't coming back in "Build Back Better". Between shutting down the (productive) energy sector, giving away our innovations for free instead of selling for profit (esp. China), plus "foreign aid" and misc. "virtue signaling" this country is finished in greatness. At the current status quo, we will basically be breaking even on just paying back the interest. Call it want you want, this is intentional destruction of the USA. It doesn't have to be that way, it was chosen to be that way. It could still be reversed, but it won't be. We are doomed. I highly recommend this is watched its painful, its sad, but its "grown-up reality".

Again, the title here is VERY misleading. Its not about elections, its about the course of this country due to financial irresponsibility, and the Republican party is as guilty as Dems for playing along:
