I received two of the new C-Products 6.8 Magazines for testing. i.e. Chad sent them to me.

The option for inexpensive 6.8 magazines that work is back.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Capacity</div></div>

I managed to get 27 rounds in hte magazine. I function tested it with 25 rds.
I will try it with 27 at a later date.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Fit-drop free or not, and if not, what lower</div></div>
I will check this tonight. I did not test this Saturday.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Finish</div></div>

the finish seems to be consitent across the magazine. It does not rub off on your hand. I will compare it to my PRI mags at a later date.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Function</div></div>
I ran approx. 40 rounds through one of the magazines on Saturday. It functioned 100%

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">
what load length can you actually get in them load to max capacity with no drag or functioning issues. </div></div>

Iam waiting on some SSA 140gr bergers. They should fit if my measuremanets were correct.

New in the wrap.

The finish does not rub off on your hands. It seems to be consistent. I will determine how it wears as I use the magazines.

I put the calipers on this one. I need to remeasure as I beleive the measurement was acutally greater than 2.3"

The bolt hold open operated properly for both cycles with the magazine. Even with a Magpul BAD lever.

Great write up!

The older mags were hit and miss, not to mention issues with the company itself.

The new CPD mags seem to be working out great, love mine and hard to beat for the money. One of the first items I want to sell in my store...
