I have found John Widden at Widdengunwoks.com top shelf.

I’ve got 1.35in. 34mm tube 56mm obj. Scope cap touches the rail. Tight fit.
I was just looking on the Barrett Store website and they list "MRAD barrel makers kits" available now!!!

Just bought my MRAD in 300-WM (24" Fluted) ... should have it in a few days. I have a (probably) stupid question, but I'm a MRAD "Newbie" so don't punish me too badly.
I want to also procure and shoot with a 6.5-CM barrel. I'm reading stuff about "short breach" and "long breach" ... with 300 and 338 apparently in the "long breach" category. My question is this (for you multi barrel MRAD mavens) ... With a 300-WM base configuration, is the barrel conversion kit (barrel, bolt-head, mag) all I need to shoot 6.5-CM, or do I need a new bolt (or something else) to go between 300-WM and 6.5-CM barrels?
Thanks all ... I guess I'm good to start buying conversion kits. Now I just need to figure out which is the first one I spring for.If you have a brand new MRAD (2nd gen) you just buy the barrel kit and that's it. I run 6.5,308,300NM,300PRC and 338LM with just the barrel kit. Easy switch!!
That said ... just the conversion kit costs more than my Tikka T3x. But you gotta pay to play ... right?
Big Daddy Unlimited has most of them for $75-$100 cheaper than EuroOptic or anywhere else. 6.5-CM Fluted is $1,261 ... not bad. Pondering the 6.5-CM Carbon Fiber version, but after buying the MRAD (300-WM), if I spent another $2,000 ... I think my wife would load one of my guns ... and shoot me in the ass with it. Gotta figure out something she wants, and work a trade.Yeah buddy! I sold one of my other rifles to get the 260 conversion haha. Also look for used on here as they can be had for a decent discount.

Very little difference between the penalties for $1,000 vs. $2,000 ... so when I go, I'll go big ... and see if I can outrun her lousy aim. I want 6.5-CM and 338-LM ... so I need to figure out something she REALLY wants. I wonder if Patrick Stewart is available to take her on a date ...Not a bad game plan I hope it works out for you haha. I found a used one with 300 rounds through it for under 1K just fyi if you want to look a little before being shot in the ass.
Everywhere I've looked it's either "Out of Stock" or "Discontinued" ... very annoying. I want one too. Not a "Monopod" fan.Has anyone bought or made a bag rider? Barrett has one listed on their site, but they are currently oos and I can’t find a distributor with one in stock...

That’s outstanding. I’ll let you know how mine turns out.I made one from 7/8" aluminum round stock and these from Amazon

I made it about 5" long and works great. I have the Barrett rider and I think my version it better. Not as pretty though. ??

I feel sort of like that American actor guy that played the Indian that shed a single tear in longing to have an berrettt mrad but stands firm and declares that one day he to will own one unless he gets side tracked by yet another gun , But I will own one someday .
Will you sell me your MRAD Bag Rider?
Just to be clear, what I'm looking for is the factory Barrett MRAD bag rider that everyone shows as "Out of Stock". Is that the one you're referring to?Haha
I have 2!
Before you jump at one here's the negative about them. They are short (3") and wide (1-1/8"). I just ordered a new bag that has 1" space between the ears so it can rest on the bottom and not halfway down the ears. The shortness of the rider is ok if you are using a good Protektor style rear bag. I like to shoot with a bipod and small rear squishy bag. But as you know there are many opinions out there. ??
So the core question is ... Will you sell me one? Happy to pay full retail ($75) and shipping let's say an even $100. You have two ... don't be greedy !!!I am referring to these
BTW ... I exclusively use a squeeze-bag, so the width and/or short form factor works fine for me.Of course ... you got the gadget ... so you're in charge. Happy to take one off your hands if you decide you don't need it.
I have several of those "universal" bolt action bore guides. The problem is that they're all too short to extend past the extended bolt chamber. They work fine on normal bolt action rifles, but don't extend out far enough to get to the end of the upper. How do you make this one work in the MRAD monolithic upper? No the best but it works well and protects the riffling. I’m satisfied... Using it on my MRAD
No that’s basically it. The conversion comes with bolt head and magazine for new cartridge.Wait. So I have the itch for the Barrett 300 PRC, but I love my TAC A1 With the Cadex chassis in 6.5. Soooo I could buy a Barret in 300 PRC and get a 6.5 barrel down the road once I financially recover? I love the 6.5 and have 2500 rounds for it. But I want this Barrett and I want the 300 PRC. Am I misunderstanding this about the conversion?
I can't find the Dewey bore guide, where did you get yours? Also, will it fit the small bolt or is it only for the original large diameter bolt?Got my MRAD yesterday ... VERY exciting. One problem I need advice on. Where the heck can I get a bore guide to fit this beast? I've ordered the Dewey for the .338 Lapua barrel, but there's no .300 Win Mag option that I can find anywhere. What do you .300-WM users use for a bore guide? None of mine I use on other rifles are long enough.
