Thompson Center Rifles vs Savage/Stevens

Still trying to determine what to get as my first long distance rifle. I had just about settled on the Stevens 200 and then started reading about the TC with interchangable barrels. I believe this rifle comes bedded and the barrel free floated, saves a little work down the roar. My question is which would be the better option as a starter rifle, accuracy is better in which?

Good luck tying to find aftermarket support for the TC. Go Stevens/Savage.

Pass on that TC fast as you can & get the Savage & you wont ever wonder why you didnt in the 1st place.
Support and aftermarket on the Savage/Stevens is unbeatable.

Get the Savage, the TC won't ever be able to outshoot the Savage, and the Savage has the added benefit of a growing and thriving aftermarket.

Thanks for the advice guys. My instinct was to go with the Stevens but the interchangable barrels on the TC looked interesting as did the 1 MOA guarantee.

You can switch out barrels pretty fast on a Savage with less than $100 of tools, thats the magic of the Savage barrel nut.
