Thoughts on publishing gun owners names

Got to thinking about the paper that published info on gun owners and came up with this idea.

First it wont happen in Wyoming, but lets say I lived in a place that did publish my info.

Why couldn't I take the list published by the paper, then compare it with the phone book of my county, then publish a list of people who don't own guns.

The headlines would be:

"These people don't have guns in their house"

Mikey likes this. I remember some guy in jail in DC, when asked why he, who lived in VA, went to DC to do breakins, he said nobody has guns in DC except us criminals.

I think it's a great idea and could be a VERY worthwhile project for somebody to take up. But keep in mind that most people, gun-owners or not, don't support the publishing of any group's names/addresses. I mean just because you don't own a gun doesn't mean you're against guns.

I think the better target would be to publish anti-gun politician's/news-casters/etc. names and addresses along with when they're at work and their house is empty.

Facebook members have been posting the GoogleStreet view of the home of the Author of the article in that paper. Almost viral. Street view, address, phone number and name.
Gee oops, it seems to have shown up here....

Thats certainly not rocket science yet some really educated people just cant seem to get it.
