How is bixn Andy for durability?I have a one stage Bixn Andy, would trade it for a good two stage.
I’m a noobie here and fell in love with your rifle setups. What kind of bipod are you using here?
How is bixn Andy for durability?
Tikka T3, 6.5 CM Barrel cut to 18”. KRG Bravo stock, Elay trigger spring, NF 4-32 Tremor 3, NF Ultra light low rings and a spartan 2 port brake.
How does she shoot with the 18,5"
I did that same to my son 223rem, it was once a TAC A1 with 24" barrel.
Now she is is 18" and sits on a KRG Bravo chassis.
Had to change the loads, now it shoots very well with 52gr Nosler CC.

That’s an awesome deal. What is MAP?Upgraded the scopes on both Tikka’s tonight.
I bought a pair of Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25X50 that were listed as “Showroom Demos” for $150 off of MAP
Upgraded the scopes on both Tikka’s tonight.
“Minimum Advertised Price”That’s an awesome deal. What is MAP?
so I have no doubt it will be lights out
May I ask you why you shortened a 6.5CM?
I´m just asking, because the short barrel with this caliber is somewhat contradictory in my eyes.

I've got s soft side Fender guitar case that is 44 inches long that would be stealthy. Mine came with my Strat but they have got to be cheap on their own.
Guys using the KRG Bravo... is the cheek piece knob removeable? I’m a lefty, wondering how (or if) that would interfere with my face.
Also, anybody recently do a LH conversion on a Bravo?
Over the last couple years now we've had multiple (hundreds, thousands maybe) requests from the Tikka crowd to answer the need for two things:
1. Sort out the ability to alter the bolt face on the T3.
2. Offer OEM quality T3 replacement bolts.
Well....that box is now being checked. A big ol truckload of steel is due to be delivered very soon so that the production growing pains can be sorted out. The bulk of the engineering work is already done.
So, I hope you all were serious cause they are coming!
Fall, 2020.
From the photos, not much clearance between the ocular bell and the rear sight...New unimount. It's a keeper. Puts the scope exactly where I want it.

Hells Canyon Armory has a package deal on custom Tikkas. I think Mountain Tactical at one point would do custom work on Tikkas, not sure now thought. They do make great aftermarket parts.Just interested to know, if there is none.

3. Take off from a tac a1.Two-stage triggers, which do you know for the T3x CTR?
1. Timney
2. KRG
3. ?
3. Take off from a tac a1.
Some people don't like them.
I meant some people get the TAC A1 and don't like 2 stage triggers and switch it out. I think they occasionally show up in the px.They don´t like the Timney or KRG?
Where can I get a trigger from a TAC A1?

Krg seems like a good one to me. I think the krg has more adjustability than the TAC A1 trigger. @Massoud seems like he makes great products. Read up on the midas trigger threads.
Area 51 rail?Loose Area 51 rail
built Tikka T3 about a month ago, 200 or so rounds thru it, and had my groups open up to 2-3 MOA last range trip.
realized after I got home the entire Area 51 rail was slightly wobbly, screws attaching it to receiver had backed out.
i installed to spec using wheeler torque wrench (15 in lbs) and used a smidge either low strength (purple) or medium strength (blue) loctite. Don’t remember which, probably purple.
Going to reinstall with medium strength, high temp thread locker I have (vibratite 123) for suppressor mounts.
just a PSA for others Installing. Instructions don’t mention any thread locker but at least in this anecdote it’s needed.
I had feeding issues with my CTR Bravo using my 6.5 CM CTR action. But when I moved my Varmint 223 action into the stock, same mag system, all was well. So just be aware it can be finicky and may need adjusting to feed well. My CTR in a Tac A1 chassis now has no issues.... who knowsGoing to take the Bravo plunge for my shorty T3. Got one coming inlet for CTR mags. Apparently KRG only sells them direct, but their website doesn’t take my preferred CC (Discover), which was a bummer. I got a great discount code from Anarchy Outdoors this morning ($40) and on a limb reached out to them to see if they could get me one and they did!![]()
Stoked to get this in, and mill out for left hand use.
Fireforming?
Yeah. Just picked a load in between starting and max for 7 SAUM and 162 amax. Think it was 57 grains or so of IMR 4831, but don’t remember. It’s pretty light in the max chamber. Primers are still really rounded. Didn’t chrono.Fireforming?
I had that happen to me on a rifle. Believe the problem was I didn’t get all of the oil that was on the rifle from shipping cleaned out before I loctited the screws. Cleaned the holes with a q-tip with breakclean and haven’t had a problem since.Loose Area 419 rail

So do I, I´m asking because the 6.5CM is somewhat like a mid-caliber for LR, but with the short barrel it´s the other way around.
If you don´t use it for LR, there would have been other calibers with more punch for hunting etc., even the cheaper .308 Win.
For what purpose will you use it?
