I am tired of living in Colorado and their liberal bullshit so I am going to move to either Tyler Texas or Springfield Missouri. I like to do a little bit of long range shooting so I am wondering if there are any long ranges in either of these areas. I have done quite a bit of searching but I cannot really find anything

If all the decent people run away, who's left to help keep this state from turning into California?

It was only a few years ago this was a conservative state and we still have some solid leaders here like the Sheriffs in Weld and Larimer counties.

Get active, don't give up and run from these pussies.
Yep, dont bring a run from your problems attitude to Texas please. We dont do that here. Our state heros fought to the death to be here.

Unfortunately, Texas is next.

I had a pretty in-depth conversation with a political consultant in 2014 about the same thing happening to GA. We both agreed that GA would have a blue Senate by 2020. Welp... We know how that goes.

Next on the list of blue-infections is ID, MT, TX, etc.

MT may go blue eventually, but statistically it is getting more red through migration. 2020 was easily the reddest it has ever been. But who knows.

Back to Texans telling us how Texas is the most Texasy great place in the world.

Too bad the other states dont feel that way about their own homes. Texas is my personal paradice, i will die before i let someone else have it.

I too am tired of living where I live, but with the way things are going lately, where is a safe place (2A friendly) to move? PA used to be my retirement home, but they've turned in to North Maryland. Virginia, nope, they're just South Washington DC.

It's frustrating for sure.

I think it is great that you all love Texas so much. What I think is silly is how you people move here and tell us that Texas is the greatest place in the world. Also, grow some fucking hills or STFU :).

We have hills Karen, that would be the Davis mountains. I think I read you're in Montana but I bet you're a transplant from one coast or the other.

I used to have a nice home. Once I found a cockroach in it. Before I became an old man the cockroaches took over my home. Does this make my home a cockroach home?

Side note...
When I was a kid we laughed at Boulder Colorado. Now they run the entire state... Texas should work in their cockroach problem before the cockroaches think Texas is theirs...
God Bless Texas.

Texans thinking they have mountains

🤣
Hills ain't no mountains. About the only thing resembling mountains are from 100-ish miles east of El Paso going to Sierra Blanca along I-10 in the area of the Border Patrol check station.

Boring but beautiful drive.

Mountains don't end at 8000 feet. Texans have such sandy vaginas. It's amazing. I was born in Wyoming, FWIW. I have lived just about everywhere in the West. Not Texas, wouldn't do that.

I’ll be contributing to MT staying red.

Hopefully a few months from now.

BTW. The above picture is an anthill, not a mountain. 😂

Texas, keep being Texas.
GL with Austin too.

This state turned into California a few years ago. Californians fled the self-inflicted repercussions of decades of liberal voting, moved to the Denver metro area, and turned this state blue. The issue is liberals spread like a virus. They destroy places like California, flee to other states for a "better life", but they still vote for the same people and the same shit that ruined California in the first place. There are certainly conservative strongholds in Colorado, but not enough to overcome the Denver metro area. Now, whatever Denver wants, Colorado gets.

just join the local PRS club and you will be able to shoot matches every weekend on private land... everything in texas is private land

Tyler is a very nice big town. If I wouldn't lose my pension, I'd be tempted to move there, myself. I agree, Texas is at high risk of flipping blue, in the near future. The cool thing about Texas, is its constitution makes many leftist actions, illegal, and people in Texas are likely to roll over, peacefully. Eastern Oklahoma may be an option, also. I like the Kiamichi hills, myself.

Yup. And they'll throw you under the jail if you go on it without permission, which they won't give you.

The family was driving through the King Ranch when I was a kid and I commented on the signs that said "Do not stop and get out of your vehicle".
I asked "WTF, you can't stop and get out?"
My uncle responded "They can tell you 'Don't look' if they want to."

But if you're the Chinese and want to buy huge tracts of land for a 'wind farm' or you want to buy a ranch to dump radioactive waste from New York, they'll be happy to sell their family ranch.
