Treadlok safe

Hey guys this is my first post so whats up. I am having a problem opening a treadlok safe. My father past away on the 21st and and my mother called me up telling me not only did he just keep his hunting rifles in the safe he kept many finical records in the safe. My father left a 3 number combo for her she tried a few times but no luck. So today i tried i started at 0 and tried going around once with each number then twice and so on. Can anyone help thanks in advance

Safes have different ways to dialing the combination. You will have to try several.
One of my safes require me to dial past the first number twice and stopping on the next pass, then past the next number once and stopping on the next pass, then dialing straight to the last number.
Another safe requires me to dial past the first number 3 times and stop on the next pass, then dial past the second number 2 time and stopping on the third, past the third number once and then stopping on it- but then turn the dial to the right until it stops.
On most safes you turn the dial counter-clockwise for the first number, then clockwise, then back counter-clockwise.

Good luck. You may have to try several different styles of dialing before you get it.

Start with dial at zero-Turn left 3 times stopping on first number of your combination, example if the number is 25, count the first time you pass 25,and then two more rotations stopping at 25.

then turn dial to the right stopping at the second number

when you are at the second number, turn dial back to the left until its stops at the third number. As the third digit is getting close, you will feel tension in the dial as the third tumbler lines up.
