Meh, its been flu season all summer from all the patients at my clinic. The rona has mutated to the level of a bad cold and the only ones worried (or affected) are the 4 and 5th jabbed. I'm actually not sure what's more worthless, the annual flu shot or the rona vax. Honestly not too worried.
I'm at the hospital killing time as my wife is having a procedure. Anyway, talking to Dr's and nurses here as they lifted the mask mandate for visitors and are now requiring masks again as the numbers are going thru the roof.
No surprise as it is The Season where people go back inside and are in close proximity. Interesting Stat.....99% of the dead this week are unvaccinated across the State of Illinois.

The only way that could be true is if they are counting anyone who didn't get their latest booster as "unvaccinated." Otherwise its horseshit. If 60% of the population of illinois has taken the jab, the odds are astronomically low that 99% of deaths in any given week would be all "unvaccinated."

Probably by a study funded by Pfizer. Everyone I know who is getting sick with some on a regular basis are boosted. Millions of doses are being disposed of because large numbers of people already vaccinated are not getting additional shots and one pharmaceutical company is halting production due to lack of demand. Kids are getting sick because their immune systems were weakened by mask wearing and isolation which was predicted early on by epidemiologists who were quickly silenced. This was just one giant psyop operation which had the side benefit of getting Trump out of the WH. Our so called public health experts are just a bunch of lying MF's in the pocket of big pharma. I honestly doubt kids are getting sick because of they were wearing masks. i would believe kids are getting sick because they are wearing masks. This is the traditional sick season. But because they were, na, masks aren't keeping enough stuff out for that. Maybe by sanitizing their environment every hour on the other hand...
One of the contributing factors to the prevalence of RSV in children was mask wearing which impaired the development of the immune system by not being exposed to low levels of pathogens. My wife is a division head at private school and currently there are a number kids being diagnosed with RSV or the flu. Several of the parents are pediatricians and told my wife that mask wearing was a contributing factor and stated as well in publications. I would agree with you that wearing a mask all day is not healthy for a whole number of reasons.

I would guess Its kind of like when they were blaming COVID for all the problems their treatments were causing. Masks are not keeping out enough pathogens to effect your immune system. Not just that, the first time your immune system encounters a pathogen, it sets the reposes it uses for that pathogen for the rest of your life. Does it need practice? Do people in India have super immune systems?

I agree. I worked through the whole pandemic without ever wearing a masks and think its all BS. Been fitted for respirators and have a good understanding what they can and cannot do and stopping viruses is on the no can do list. The point is our immune systems development by being exposed the pathogens. Interrupting that process causes downstream issues. I always believed masking was complete BS.

The way I'm reading Zia's post is that the pediatrician parents of the children at his wife's school do believe that mask-wearing prevents immune system development by limiting the wearer's exposure to [naturally occurring] low levels of pathogens. Asking for clarity's sake because it seems you both have similar opinions on this one...
You would have to pretend that masks block pathogens for them to prevent natural exposure in order to hinder an immune system response. They do not per every study ever done on wearing masks topped off with common sense. The pediatricians are lying once again. They probably recommend the vaxx as well.
Wearing masks was nothing more than a test of compliance.

I went through almost 2 years of Covid without contracting it. Never was vaxxed. Finally caught it from someone who had been vaccinated, who got Covid anyway.
A good friend, perfectly healthy, had a stroke 3 months after getting the vax. It was mandatory so he could get a procedure done on his eyes.
Another friend's wife, who is in her 40s, had a stroke in the same time period after getting the vax.
Then there are all these heart issues that have risen from the vaccine.

People I work with would keep taking tests until they got a positive when they were sick to. Beyond the faulty PCR tests, and tests designed to show positive for Flu and Cold viruses. 7 tests one positive, yep, I tested positive for the Rona.
