This morning while reading a garbage article about TSec Bessent and forward treasury sales I got to thinking about the % of Fed / State / Muni / 501C employment in my state. Public employment in my state is 35%, while Non Profit employment is 11% of total employment. I'd bet your state is roughly the same.

There was a large batch of layoffs once at work. Half were experienced military service trained and honorably discharged veterans, aka " vetted". 25% were strait up nepotism hires that were hidden in with the 25% dei hires.
The bosses went into a panic attack mode and tried to purge the workers that knew the difference and anyone that knew the management was mostly dei and nepotism hires in the first place all the way to the top.
One dei hire hid in the bathroom all day so she couldn't be handed the pink slip.
