Trump is back…the “Now What” thread

Need to extend that federal land all the way to Brownsville. The Texas residents using it can be given "leases to try and maintain thier way of life " hate any kind of government land grab but enough is enough.

By the way federal airspace should be maintained above it and held under military scrutiny.

Hunt all thier asses down.
Force it all to ports of entry.

Why would you advocate stealing land from citizens to fix a problem the government created on PURPOSE?

If land needs to be grabbed, well perhaps grab it from Mexico since they have been fully complicit in the whole problem...

I don't follow politics very much. I read headlines, nor have I read all this thread, but if a list of achievements for Trump were to be compiled 4 months in, they would be, what? I dont want the debatable ones, actual acomplishments:

1. Pardon/commute J6 people. This was the most important in my eyes.
2.
3.
4.
5.
1. Got rid of Panama’s secret Belt and Road Initiative pact with China. That is huge.
2. Reset the military with solid leadership focused entirely on lethality and survivability.
3. Pro-US energy policy
4. Reset trade relationships
5. Secured the US border
6. Laken Riley Act.
7. Deporting violent, child rapist, sex-trafficking, worst illegals
8. Promoting over $1.8 Trillion in US investments from private firms
9. 10,000 new US jobs in the first month of his WH
10. Back-pay to US service members who were kicked out for not getting injected with experimental mRNA.
11. Ended the Green New Deal trash agreements from Obama and Biden.
12. Getting Russia and Ukraine to the peace negotiating table.
13. Ending surgical and chemical mutilation of children as part of the demonic tranny movement.
14. Ban on tranny males from competing in women’s sports.
15. DOGE chasing down Waste, Fraud, and Abuse in Government
16. Reforming the Federal Bureaucracy
17. Ending DEI trash
18. Ordered and end to anti-Christian bias, censorship, pardoned 23 pro-life activists

There are a ton of things he’s done that are very difficult to even keep up with.

This is a deflection method. Next is calling me homosexual, since retard has been used by 37L1. Another deflector. Snipershide, where real men resort to name calling in lieu of how you might talk to someone sitting next to you. 50 years and never once have people talked to me in real life like they do here. Minus women, women will say whatever the fuck they want, but they know I won't punch them in the face.......YET! Keyboard warriors....... Let's here your BEST!

Maybe you can list some things that have affected the common man? 90 days quickly turns into 120, them 240, then a year.
Thanks for answering my question, but a simple yes or no would've sufficed.
And if you don't like being called names stop acting like the names you're being called.....

Go back to sleep.
Sounds like you have a long list, speak up!

Seriously, what's been done? My taxes looked the same, still shit load of immigrants, fuel prices the same, lumber prices higher, same sales tax, teachers still teaching porn, supressors still require tax stamp, drugs still rampant. Im still paying personal property tax, income tax. Pedos still running loose. Majority of shit still coming from China.

Im interested in the real changes.....seems like politics as always. Nothing has changed.

I read a lot of DOGE stuff, but how has any of that helped anyone? My tax rates are unchanged, and debt clock keeps increasing. Bunch of govt cuts...taxes still the same.

Military, numbers nowhere close to 1990s. Stock market, plus/minus as usual!

All the people that tried to kill him and jail him, still walking free!

Before long, we will be one year in, and MY and your life will be the same!

I guess I have slept through all the major changes that affected you and I, but you seem to have a list that has helped you personally?????

These people are all the same....facade of hope, but same ole', same ole'! Govt is a machine, one man cant change shit!

Not sure what State you’re in but gas prices for us have dropped to under $3.00/gal. It’s noticeably cheaper than last year.

El Salvadoran and Venezuelan gang activity really died down too. We had Venezuelan gang violence break out in a really quiet part of Utah last year. I imagine the effects of deportations are driving that.

US military force structure was totally different in 1990 than today. That was after 8 years of Reagan battle-focused training and limited intervention. Trump DoD is set to have a similar culture, but without guys like Rumsfeld and Cheney around.

He's aware of all that, but like all TDS suffers he wouldn't give credit where credit is due to save his own miserable life.

This guy is saying the quiet part out loud.

"Yes, we can build new factories, but that will take years.

It also comes with a lot of risk.

Less than four years from now, a new administration could come in and totally reverse current trade policy.

If Chinese goods started pouring back into our country at that point, what would happen to those that invested giant mountains of money into new U.S. factories?

I don’t think that we will see a huge wave of factory construction, because the risk of being wiped out when a new administration comes in is just too great."

He isn't wrong. Why invest in factories (in a recession to boot) when the next administration or the one after that reverses the trade policies OR Trump decides to do the same due to economic stresses before a company can get their ROI back?

So I suppose we just sit here and take it? No

Let's get this strait, bad policies in the past mostly by Democrats got us in this shitty position and the plan is to wait around till they come back in power to reinforce stupidity?

You're kidding right?

Not kidding at all. Its basic risk management for any business. Why invest in something when there is a real risk of it being nullified down the road? Have you ever run a business? Everything is risk v reward. Either you run it out of your pocket or the shareholders' pockets, both of which require profit on investments. In order to move the businesses here permanently you are looking at either permanent tariffs or government subsidies to those companies. I have serious doubts about these tariffs being permanent and I for sure wouldn't go all in on expansion until the dust settles.

I'm not against the tariffs, I never said that. But there are things businesses must consider before they invest in America. Basically, there is no trust that the politicians won't turn their backs on both the American business and the American workers the first chance they get. This is one of his main points in the article. Why? Because they are beholden to their donors and for those donors it is still too expensive to produce here at the same price point it can be gotten overseas, and at a minimum if the tariffs go away the profits of these companies are better if they go international where the production cost are lower, so you can bet your ass they will be pushing for that, and soon. Case in point: Walmart and Target have already met with Trump over this issue. Until that changes and you get lobbyists out of the politicians offices nothing is going to change in any permanent fashion. This is the reality of business.

Nothing personal but the buisiness " reality" is what got us to this point.

Pure greed, and fuck everyone additudes of all buisiness in general and the sheep that can't tell the difference. Yes I had a successful buisiness till I hurt the feelings of some big players and they fucked me over . Also shits. They couldn't beat me at the game so they bought out the players.

The additude of never investing in the future to maximize current gains will kill this country like a slow nuclear war that some of us apparently have allready thrown the towel in the ring on.

No God damned use getting sweaty or bludgeoned up just take a dive and get paid.

Corporate shits.

You know I blame a lot of this corporate crap on 401k's.

No loyalty no reason to not just blow it out for short term gain and move on.

Like a bunch of locusts eating it to the ground and moving on instead of trying to build something.

Wait till the dems get back in power and steal the 401k's.
Been done in Europe allready.

Donny said no intention of firing Powell. One day after saying he could not be gone soon enough. Said he "isn't playing hardball with China".

But just a few days before...
"The ball is in China's court. China needs to make a deal with us. We don't have to make a deal with them," Trump said in comments relayed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt

Donny has no clue wtf he is doing.

Donny picked a fight with the wrong guy. THis is not the US vs China. This has become the US President vs the General secretary of the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), and the seventh president of China and thus the paramount leader of China. Xi Jinping answers to nobody. If any trade policy needed a statesman and politically savvy leader, it was this one. Donny is completely unarmed. The biggest problem is he was completely unaware of this. I am in no way advocating for China coming out on top (obviously) but Donny WILL NOT "win" this. However you want to define "win". Will China make concessions? Likely. But Donny declared war and is waiting for Xi to surrender. It ain't happening. There were innumerable ways to handle this, and Donny took the worst path possible. I guarantee one thing from this. Donny will claim a win. 100%.

Trump did say, although understated, that his tariff plan was going to be painful. it will. i believe his intention is to start a rebuild for the distant future. if so,he is wise indeed. the average American has an attention span of maybe 2 weeks at best. our main and only true rival's short term plans are a century. he and his ideas did not cause the coming pain. that was Johnson,Obiden,Clinton,Bush x 2. Regan was way not perfect but his limited moves did buy us about 10-20 years. we would have been worse then than we are now with 4 more of peanut breath. that chance got blown by the Dem executive and the uniparty congress since then. the same really applies to lousy health status, illiterate college grads, rampant crime, mindless wars of choice and open invasion.
indeed i am not happy with some things Trump is doing and hasn't done. he is not the/a messiah. his presence in truth gives us the best chance to see things turn around in the last 100 years. they have been going bad at least that long.

No, it will likely be much worse unless some big things happen fast. We are on the precipice of going to hell in a handbag. That's why Trump keeps telling everyone to stay cool and stay the course. He knows. It can be fixed, but it's going to have to happen soon.
