If you want someone in the vice spot that scares the hell out of your enemies, I like Vivek. Checks the minority boxes that morons care about, and I think the left would second guess trading Trump for him. I also like what he says about how to drain the swamp, that you can’t do it by firing agency leadership alone. It has to be draconian cuts. So I think he understands the problem well.
Not mentioned by anyone, but Mark Meadows knows where the bodies are buried.
JD Vance might help win Ohio.
Mark Robinson speaks for the common man better than 99% of politicians. Very similar to Trump in that regard. Would make a spectacular future VP, not sure if he’s ready for this particular fight.
If WW3 broke out tomorrow, I’d like Trump and Tucker Carlson as VP. Trump for his strong leadership and negotiating experience, as well as his unpredictability on the world stage. Foreign leaders HAVE to take everything he says seriously. And I think Tucker would excel at asking the “why” questions and playing devil’s advocate while still being reliably conservative. Tucker would push for doing the “right thing” regardless if expectations.

Good question- great discussion, unfortunately I don't have a name worth throwing in the hat though-
Reason being- at least as I see things (folks are welcome to disagree) if I was Donald Trump- I'd have to believe that our country is at another impasse where the VP pick really isn't going to sway votes either way (i.e. it won't help him carry a swing state), folks that were going to vote Trump will do it even if he selected Mike Pence again (which we know he won't) and it wouldn't make the slightest difference.
Having said that, and going back to the preface that if I was Donald Trump- I'd find the potential candidate that is somewhat aligned with Trump's message but scares the 'deep state' even more than Trump does and comes across as an absolute extremist for conservatism. That seems to be a tall order and I'm not sure who could fit that role but that's 100% what I'd do in his position if for nothing else as an insurance policy.
Even after saying that, it still strikes me as an outlandish position to hold and one that I'm not proud of having but regardless that's my read on the upcoming election. Maybe Jesse Ventura? It's so hard to think of someone that would piss certain people off even more than Donald Trump at this point.

Have you watched his Podcast interviews, especially the most recent ones. I’d be curious what you would say if you could watch a bunch of these WITHOUT the filter of skepticism. IMO they are not words of deceit. He’s the only person I’ve heard with real solutions to some of our real problems.

It would be nice to find a candidate that would give Trump a boost in swing states, someone who could appeal to people who don't like Joe Biden but also don't like Trump, and someone who could step in and do a credible job as president. I don't know who that is. I know I'd like Desantis to be VP so he'd be a shoe-in in 2028. I like Ted Cruz but I don't know how effective he'd be as VP... save him for a SC justice slot. I'd like a good debater, too, someone who would wipe the floor with Kamala (not that this would be hard, but it would have to be such an overwhelming own that even the Democrats/media (I repeat myself) couldn't arguing convincingly that Kamala held her own. If I had to bet it’s Burghum or Rubio with Burghum in the lead. I don’t have anything against Burghum other than he’s generally boring and isn’t going to excite anyone. Rubio would be the better choice as it probably nets you a decent vote increase, and he debates very well. The Republicans have a very deep bench to choose from for once unlike the democrats, there are probably 15 or 20 names off the top of my head I would be happy with.
I actually like Rubio, but he presents the same issue as DeSantis (all 3 are FL residents) if the electoral votes are close.
