At this point, Trump could name a "Ham Sandwich" as his VP, and still beat Joe Biden. The Democrats are currently engaged in a post-debate circular firing squad, the result of which will be a loss of historic proportions.
Ratcliff will be AG and Devin Nunuez will be the Director of FBI when Trump wins
Paxton for the win. He would be excellent at the AG helm.
I would normally bristle up at the suggestion of making a choice on skin color, because normally such decisions are ONLY made on that qualification.
However, in the case of those you mentioned, they totally earned the distinction of being great candidates on their merit. They would be super solid conservatives that respect the USC, having such a black person on the ticket would guarantee a landslide win that dwarfs anything in the last 200yrs.
The right one could also have a ripple effect of providing an actual positive role model for the black community.
If that secondary benefit could get some traction, the entire nation could benefit greatly.

Marco Rubio of Florida, JD Vance of Ohio, and Tim Scott of South Carolina. He also mentioned North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.

IMHO, good choice of Vance, mostly his age - and given he was eating Crayons for an early part of it - means he's likely to not be some McCain/Romney neocon adherent.

I just hope if and when Trump gets in that actual traitors are brought to justice. If nothing happens to punish anyone in the current administration, you will know with surety that Trump is also in the deep state. Remember, Trump isn’t really a conservative. Just better than potato. The Overton Window has shifted over 100 years.

I'm OK with Vance, as well. I see him as having more "rizz" potential and appeal to more of the public on their level, then any of the other potential VPOTUS candidates. I also see him as having better potential to succeed DJT whenever that time comes (hopefully upon completion of his 2nd term). Unless. Ron DeSantis gets into it in 2028.
I'd like Ben Carson to be offered any Cabinet post he chooses (well, maybe not SECDEF, but...). He certainly has the intelligence for it. But he might need a little more rizz if he wants to be VP, or eventually succeed DJT as POTUS (which he might have to do). Rubio is a RINO AFAIC. Does not support 2A. Burgum I don't know much about.

I'm not sure if he'd be able to do that. I'd have to think that FJB, as one of his last acts of defiance, will pardon all the heavy players before DJT gets his crack at them. I see that for Mayorkis, for Garland, Dettlebach, maybe even this SS director. Definitely the FBI director. And, of course, Hunter,.
Maybe DJT might have a shot at Leteitia James or Alvin Bragg or Jack Smith, if he can get the right people on board to go after them, but...

hope trump is right. i do not know much about the guy. will look into it for sure. VP pick has become really important,esp last 8 years. if mccain hadn't had palen on the ticket,he might not of cleared 10k votes. most informed people knew him to be a left wing rino of the worst sort despite his war record. could almost believe he was "manchurian".
I think he's better than that. Even though he does lack Foreign Policy experience, I'd like to see him go for Sec. of State. If Colin Powell can do it, so can Carson.
