Well I know these weren't taken with a rifle, but it's so cool I just had to share with you guys.
Made a trip out to our place in San Saba county a few days before Easter, and man was it good. Lots of birds and gobbling activity. Gobblers were wanting to work and hang up some, but would come in with some persuasion. My wife shot the video, she's awesome with the camera.
This one weighed 19.5 pounds and had an 10" beard. Taken on Good Friday morning. He hung up for 20 minutes before he finally came out enough for a shot.
This one was taken the next morning, he was on the roost about 500 yards off with several others and at least one hen from the sounds of things. He went 18 pounds and had an 11" beard. He just moved to my favorite bird of all time.
Here's the video of the second bird, it's pretty sweet. Turn your volume all the way up and you can hear him gobbling his head off.

My buddy from Alaska pulled off a 9th inning double right before we left. Him and I called these in with one more longbeard from a LONG ways off, and they came in on a rope.
