With the conflict in the Ukraine, the observations on Russian tactics, and the realization from NATO that you really do fight with what you have when the balloon goes up; many nations, including the USA are reevaluating their stance on night vision. Its not enough that elite tactical units have NVG's - everyone needs NVGs.

As all manufacturers move forward under this paradigm shift in combat operations, you can expect military demand to consume almost all tube availability for the next 2 years. Russians tubes and Chinese tubes may become scarce as sanctions take effect and/or are strengthened.

That's one way to look at information, however you can get your NVGs and tubes from L3 or Elbit and their resellers and distributors. That should mitigate the "make yourself rich" concern. We're letting you know that the reality of the situation at play will affect all manufacturers. No one can determine how this will play out, so keep your radar up and lets see how this disaster in Ukraine impacts everyone. Right now we're sending what we can over there to support their needs.

L3Harris won’t be exporting their tubes anytime soon. I doubt we’ll see any fallout from actual tube shortages caused by a spike in European demand, but more likely due to inflation and supply chain issues, which may drive up prices and strain availability, no one I know of at L3 is sounding any alarm bells yet.

These are my Russian NODs. State of the art, baybee!
