Well I ordered the vector optics Veryon 3-12 but went SFP because the crosshairs are so fine. Mounted it on a air gun and took it out today.
Only shot it at 35 yards but was able to see .22 pellet holes at 35 yards. Everything functioned as expected (no box test). Eye box and eye relief were good even at 12x. Guy with a Athlon Midas commented on how clear it was for the price.
If the US optics has a better reticle it would be worth the extra coin IMHO

I got my vector optic version a couple weeks ago. The erector housing is different but they both had about 30 miles of adjustment for elevation and wind. I definitely like the uso reticle better. It is definitely the right thickness to be useable across its range. Uso cannot seem to give me the reticle substensions. I’ve asked 3 times. The vector scope has some sort of lense placement flaw too. The reticle will only focus at one magnification, and becomes blurry as you move away from the power you focus the eye piece at. Making the reticle very useless at lower powers if focused on high magnification. I sent it back. We shall see how the replacement is.
This is the uso checklist that came with the scope. Fit and finish, attention to detail and quality control is super important. If uso has an employee actually do these tests seriously, it can make all the difference in the world. Definitely worth the expense of being gone over by a pro. That’s what we shall see with the vector. I will give 3 strikes

The folks at USO told me that they are doing QC on these in house in North Carolina. That could make substantial difference and the little TS-12 looked pretty nice. I plan to test one.

I wonder what percentage of these USO returns back to china? How does that work with a scope that is defective from the original manufacture, do they replace it with another to USO?
MSRP from their website is way higher than the street price.
Eurooptic has the US made FDN series available for pre-order.

Their first responder discount is 25% off MSRP and gets the price down another hundred bucks or so under Eurooptics street price. I pre-ordered a FDN17x and ended up at about 2150.00
That's a question to USO. Generally, with Chinese OEMs, most of the time defective scopes get replaced, but I have no insight into how USO does this.

Any updates on this? In the market for a 22LR scope in the next month or two for NRL22. Wondering if this might fit the bill or if it would be better to stick with something like the SWFA 3-15, Midas TAC 4-16, or Ares BTR Gen 1 2.5-15.
I have just handled it so far waiting for a couple more parts for my AR22. Glass looks good. Reticle is decent for what the scope is. Turrets are more noticeable than my mark 4 LR.
I like it a lot so far except for the fact that I can’t get any information on what the reticle substensions are. I’ve been shooting at different distances between 25 and 310 yards, with repeatable results clicking around with a .22.
I love the specs on the TS-12X, but I'm bummed it is not made in America. This seems like a great fit for my scoped carbine, which I'm generally shooting between 100-800 yards. I haven't found much in this magnification range this compact and light. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any similar scopes to recommend.

Just picked one up. It's out of the box and on the gun table. Rings coming Monday. I'm tossing it on a PWS AR-10 762x39. Surprisingly, I had plans to put it on with an extra set of Warne Med. rings but objective was touching the Pic Rail. I should be banging on Monday and i'll come back to the thread with an update. FYI $330 from EuroOptic.
It is more challenging to mount a scope that short. I cut the front off of my 419 mount off, so I could mount it lower.
I thought about doing the same exact thing to my mpa pic mount. My low rings wouldn’t let me set the scope back far enough bc of the objective hitting the pic mount

I originally tried some NF Med rings and they were too low. I ended up using Vortex High
I emailed USO to ask whether it has an IPX rating (which indicates protection against dust, water, and ingress of particles or fluids). They replied quickly...
"The TS-12 is 100% waterproof, we have tested it up to 2 atmospheres (66 feet), for up to 5 hours. We are confident it'll withstand deeper and longer, we just didn't have a deep enough lake near by for testing!"
Generally, it's a good sign they responded quickly. In my opinion the jury is still out on whether this scope is good enough to be considered a quality product, mainly being so new to the market there just aren't many folks out there putting it through the paces yet. If the manufacturer doesn't reply to questions, support their warranty, and basically runs radio silent, that is a bad sign. So it's good to see they are responsive. I, for one, have some reservations about the scope based (admittedly) almost entirely on its low cost and Chinese manufacturing. USO attempts to mitigate this by emphasizing its Japanese glass and American quality control. I'm trying to be objective and remember that optics technology and manufacturing processes have come a long way in the last decade. Which is to say, it is not objectively true that everything made in China is poor quality. In other words, I'm trying to keep an open mind. I ordered one; I'll put it through my own testing and let the results speak for themselves.
My original question specifically cited the IPX rating and their answer didn't mention it, which isn't great. I assume either their rating was lower than they wish to advertise or else the scope was never submitted to be tested/certified. I'm not familiar with the IPX rating process, so I am assuming it's an objective and standardized evaluation by a third party. I would prefer if the scope were IPX rated, of course, because it would provide an objective standard of comparison. That said, not being certified does not mean the thing isn't waterproof in and of itself. Not submitting it for testing may have been a legitimate business decision to manage costs, especially if they could fairly easily test it themselves (IE drop it in a deep lake for 5 hours, pull it out, looks good? good enough).
Ultimately, having a rating would be nice, but the thing is either waterproof or it is not. In my possession, the most water it will ever see will be a pouring rain over a number of hours or a 2-day competition. If it can survive 60ft of water pressure for 5 hours, it will probably be fine in the rain.

For those unfamiliar with Ingress Protection rating system, each item is rated with a two-digit number, i.e. IP65. The first digit is related to solids and a '6' is the highest rating, promising protection against dust-size particles and promising the device is fully vacuum sealed. A '1' protects against solid objects of greater than 50mm from entering the device. Typically, most would prefer a rating of '6' on their devices.
The second digit is relating to liquids/moisture. A '1' protects against vertically falling drops of liquid, citing condensation as an example. While the highest rating of '9' protects against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and steaming/washing procedures. A rating of '7' is typically as high a rating as most will need. This rating promises protection against fully submerging the device for up to 30 minutes in 15cm - 1m of liquid.
For reference, I used to work for a rugged tablet manufacturer that designed tablets for the military, oil fields, rail roads, hospitals/ambulances, police, etc. Our most rugged tablet was IP67 rated and a lot of our ratings were done in-house, so no unbiased third party is necessary.
I appreciate hearing everyone’s experiences with this scope, please continue to share! I have recently come into the scope market and am intrigued by this scope, but had heard that recently USO changes locations and their quality went down in that move. I’m hoping they’re past that, please keep us updated on your experience!
I wouldn't get too hung up on it being made in China. Ever hear of people not dropping $1200 on a phone made in China without blinking?
I really like the scope so far, except for the fact that there is no zero stop or way to tell how how many revolutions have been made. USO sent me the reticle substensions. This is a nice hunting reticle.

Got to spend some time behind one today and did a tracking test for @TampaBud
The first thing I noticed was the clarity and resolution.
Bore sighted the 6 BR at 96yards and these were the first three shots.
Made the correction and went to the tall target.
Since it wasn't exactly 100yds, the sub tensions on the reticle didn't match the lines I drew on the cardboard.
No biggie, since I had the same issue while testing my Ares BTR.
The winds were 7-11 mph so there is some impact point error. However, this scope tracked exactly how my Ares tracked and the bullets landed on the sub tension lines/marks that were shown by the scope.
I shot 12 rounds and held only on the aim point of the first round.
I'd say it's very good at tracking, I just needed a true 100 yards for the reticle and the target to match.
Also note that it finished right back on the original POA.
I'm impressed.
Btw, the other targets stapled to the bottom have a bunch of 6.5 holes from testing a Remington that seems to have bedding issues...

I have the TS20x model. its on my PRS rig. happy with it so far and got it for a really good deal from a discount dealer. It'll be on top of my rifle until I can swing more money for better optic. With regards to USO I emailed them bout a throw lever and they replied to me before I got back to my computer after getting up to get a beer. I was impressed. An additional $50 for a sun shade for my 20x was insane (no flash kill, just the tube) but it is what it is. Glass is great, tracts perfect. the clicks are a bit on the mushier side but will do. It will rotate back to a. different platform when I upgrade to the tract or something else

I can make a throw lever....can tell ya what existing model based on dimensions, or can make one custom if someone sends over a scope.
Do it the old fashioned way. Get a 30 MOA base that should be good enough. If its not, get the Burris rings with the inserts and you can add elevation until your "CUSTOM" zero stop is a few mils below your zero. Easy peezy.
Or skip the base and go straight to the rings.

I have used my 3-12 vector scope (supposedly made in the same place)
anywho - the size and function of the scope are perfect for hunting and the reticle on the US optic version is perfect.
I got one from Eurooptics and decided to return it within five minutes out of the box. On first glance it seemed nice, but I noticed a problem as soon as I turned the elevation dial. It spun as expected, until I got to ~2.9 mils. At that point it became very tight and difficult to turn. It stayed that way through ~4.5 mils, then went back to normal. The issue remained consistent whether dialing up or down. Anytime I was between 2.9 and 4.5 it was difficult to turn. Something was obviously wrong internally. I find it hard to believe USO went through a thorough QC process and yet still managed to miss such an obvious problem. I could have sent it in for repair or replacement, but having such a problem right out of the box I took as indicative of likely future problems. At least, it undercut any benefit of the doubt I had to give. Secondly, there is no rev indicator. This seems like a bad idea to me. On only a 6 mil dial, a rev indicator is necessary. Even on my 556, I shoot past 6 mils. What is the plan here?

1. MHR - love it. Simple, clean, floating dot, mil & half mil marks. Really loved it. Almost made me go through the hassle of the repair process. Almost.
2. Size and weight.

I hope in the future USO will add a simple rev indicator (and MK Machining will make a throw lever!). I liked it enough to try it again if they make that change...and sell me one that’s not broken out of the box.

5-Minute Impression Review:
Bought a TS-12X from EO with the MHR reticle for my AR10 16" setup. Wanted something short that didn't cost an arm and a leg as I am investing into a Leupold DAGR clone for my SCAR17.
Fit and Finish: Excellent. Both inside and out. No dirt particles inside the optic, diopter has no play but easily worked and the magnification rings is smooth...not S&B/Steiner smooth but as good as many. Compared to the Optika6 I had...this USO (even though it is Made in China...the tolerances and overall fit and finish is better).
Glass: I compared this to my LRTS and Nitro 3-12s...I find that 12 to 18X is the sweet spot for optics anymore...glass wise it is on par with the Nitro with a bit better color and resolution but not as much as the LRTS...CA is better on the TS12X than both of the Bushnells...but it is just not as vivid as the LRTS. Per USO, they source the glass from Japan...however I expected the lack of resolution out of such compact scope that is shorter than many LPVOs. There is slight distortion between 3-4X at the edges but you have to look for it.
Turrets: Both are locking pull/push setup like many. Clicks are tactile but there is a slight "mush" feel as you go from click to click...however each .1 mil adjustment can be felt and heard. 6 mil on elevation per turn and the windage is marked 1-2-3-2-1 so you won't get lost in it easily if you do dial for windage...I personally never will once zeroed. I did test if there is any hang up like someone mentioned previously as you dial the turrets...I felt no resistance of any kind in my sample.
Reticle: They nailed it...it is a no frills, perfect mil reticle with a floating dot ... I do wish they would have added say 5 mils up top with .2 mil capability but truly I do not feel it is needed at 12X...if this optic was a 15X or higher...I would want it. But USO nailed this reticle...and I can use it at 3X.
Packaging: for people that care...the package is excellent and well designed. I really liked the checklist included that is MANUALLY written out by the technician with his/her name on it.
In closing of my 5-minutes review...I think this is very much a sleeper optic, especially at the EuroOptic price point...but as anything...the only thing that matters is how it holds up to my AR10...so time will tell...but USO offers a great warranty and informed me that they test each optic on their machine that simulates .30-06 at 5000rds prior to shipping...
