Just came from the Greene Co. meeting, smallest county in Virginia had several hundred there. Got to go to work early so I couldnt wait for the vote, but I think I know which way the wind will blow.

I hope ALL OF Virginia turns 2A Sanctuary except for the leftist urban enclaves.

If they complain about how "Sanctuary status" holds no legal power, kindly remind them that illegal immigrant "sanctuaries" are the same under federal immigration law.

If they want to continue playing the game, a stoppage of food and utilities due to "emergency road closures" in 2A Sanctuary counties will remind them of the very small niche that they have hijacked in this country's political atmosphere...

I think I read threaded muzzle being one of the things that makes it an assault rifle. That will get a whole lot of bolt actions. Foot to the floor. We are all rooting for you.
not trying to understate the stupidity and wrongness of the bill(s), but they were singling out semi-auto rifles and pistols with threaded muzzles and/or other scary attributes. not bolt guns (but of course that can change...).

Love the look of that map thus far! ..great progress, Virginia Patriots, keep the momentum going!

Starting to see stories about Virginia’s pro 2A efforts and 2A sanctuary counties in the lame stream media, which helps spread the word even more. Hopefully, Northam and his commie cuck brigade wise the fuck up and focus on lowering taxes or something else besides robbing people of their fucking God given rights.

As for those counties in Red:

Update:

VCDL reporting 18 new sanctuary counties added last night for a total of 77 of 95 VA counties having passed 2A sanctuary resolutions. Several of the county meetings last night had crowds over 1,000 people.

I was at my county meeting last night and there were definitely over 1,000 people. Our sheriff spoke stating that his department would never come to confiscate the guns of law abiding citizens. A local VA delegate, Bryce Reeves also spoke stating “we must hold the line” against gun control.

it is my understanding that Fredericksburg VA failed to pass a resolution, but a delegate-elect (Democrat) publicly stated that he would not vote for the AWB ban.

What we are doing is working! Keep up the fight! Show up at your local meetings and show up in January in Richmond. Im immeasurably proud of my fellow Virginians so far. We must not let each other down. Also, thank you to any of those supporting not from VA.

Doesn't matter who we vote for (I'm not in Virginia but in Illinois and it's similar) they are all gonna fuck US. Politicians are *all* liars and cheats. We need to, and are finding, a way to tell them we *Will Not Comply* with illegal and unconstitutional legislation. We are electing them and then telling *them* not having them tell *US* and it's high time we went there.

Good on ya VA! I send my support from Illinois!

VooDoo

In my 'must watch' county, Prince William, a massive crowd turned out and they got it passed. This is highly significant as this is a massive county in terms of voters, delegates and business. It is also very close to DC and the progressive heartland. Apparently there is a new board coming in January that is progressive and will overturn Prince William's status as 2A Sanctuary (another example of the disaster 2019 election for gun owners). With that caveat, this is a major win for liberty and the 2A!

Let's vote the progressives out ASAP!

It is also depressing how little coverage this is getting in the main stream media. Washington Post has nothing on it. Nearly an entire state standing up against political over-reach and doing it in a very respectable, honorable fashion. WTF? It would be nice if Drudge Report picked up some local media coverage, because they are covering it. Snipers Hide is the leading source of coverage, and this is all grass roots. (I imagine the boys on ARCOM are covering it too, but I don't frequent that site). Nice work Hide!

We all know how to shut down a city. Wouldn’t take that many men.
This is hear say on my part but,....All city's an states have electrical choke points/lynch pins every last one of them of them. Somethings in fact can be disrupted by simply blocking a Mw path. Again so I am told.

Was just talking with co-workers about that this morning. And I work for a media company, a radio news network. Minimal coverage is being given to any of this in the Northern VA/DC area. What tiny blurbs that do appear on the local TV newscasts cover the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary votes very briefly, without mentioning anything about what's inspiring the movement. Almost like, "Oh wow, here's what those paranoid gun nuts are up to". I've been seeing alot of stuff on Facebook about the movement as well, and have taken to "sharing" every last little bit of info on the topic with my list of friends. Just to spread awareness. I was stunned at the number of people, gun people at that, that I know that had no clue about the bills that have been proposed. A few of them I believe who voted Democrat in November's election. Surprise!!
The Hide has indeed been the best source for info. Many thanks to everyone here for keeping us all informed, and thanks to Frank/Lowlight for providing this platform.

Another GREAT day for Virginia yesterday, as mentioned above, 77 counties now. I'm in a district that's large and the Board of Supervisors issued a statement 2 weeks ago saying in 70 years, they have never been involved in issues like this and they weren't about to start getting in the middle of it, so take it up with your Virginia Legislature.

Last night, they voted for it!

You better believe that the next election is going to be a bloodbath for Democrats in VA if they continue in this direction.

We're at 77 of 95 Counties and you know there's a handfull that will never vote for it.

I hope Virginia becomes this model for how to fight against these anti-2A dirtbags.

Lobby day is 1/20/20. Traditionally many attendees would open or conceal (with valid permit) carry handguns. VA law allows CCW holders to even carry in the state Capitol building.

General consensus seems to be we should not come armed to the teeth as many believe it hurts our message/allows them to paint us radicals. Normal approach to carry seems to be encouraged. However, VA dems have prefiled bills that would ban all carry on Capitol grounds. These would not be passed and in effect on 1/20/20, but the may try some type of procedural change.

If you are planning to attend, I would highly advise you to follow the VCDL Facebook page and/or subscribe to VCDL alert. They will provide all necessary info for the January lobby day.

We need some fat cat with deep pockets to take care of some things. The part I see a big problem with in turning out large numbers on Jan 20, 2020 is getting people to the site. Parking down there sucks, so you aren't going to park 5,000 extra cars within walking distance. The VCDL mentions parking at Willow Lawn Shopping Mall and taking the bus down to it. That's not going to work well either. It's a small outside mall with limited parking and the busses can't handle 1000 people showing up at the same time, much less having room for 1,000's of extra cars in that lot. It's not going to happen.

Someone with money or contacts needs to find a common place, like Richmond International Raceway (a little too far from the venue), and let people park there for free and then it needs to be shuttle buses running to and from, enough shuttle buses to actually make it all happen.

To me, that's key in making the numbers large. If you have an organized, published place to go and park and step on a shuttle bus that drops you off and picks you up and the door, then you'll get a lot more people.

How someone makes that happen, I don't know. I don't know the right people to make that happen. Of course, the closer the parking venue, the less buses you need.

why wasn't Prince William county colored GREEN in this updated map... maybe they are holding back given the "promise" of the new board?

Battleground moves to Fauquier and Stafford counties. Nearly all of the remaining ORANGE is a near certain GREEN. (For example, Fluvanna, those boys are conservative, as are Rockingham, Frederick and Clark). VA Beach another battleground, lots of military there, but lots of Democrats too looking for free government handouts.

I drive thru Fauquier nearly every week and I believe its changing fast with the economic growth coming out I-66. Lots of massive housing developments just off 66 and 29, aimed at folks that can't afford DC beltway prices and will rely on 66 to get to work every morning (what a horrible commute that will be).

This is my major issue. Driving down a long ways and need a parking spot that works. Hopefully I'm bringing down some supporters in a car pool, but still, parking my wife's big ass Suburban is a major concern.

The Coliseum and Richmond Convention Center are a couple blocks away. There are parking decks there. If there's nothing happening that day, that might be an option for people. If there's something happening at the Convention Center that day, then it wouldn't help much. I'll look into it and see if I can verify what's happening in that time frame down in the City. Could always be VCU stuff going on as well. I'll look around and report back.

Hanover has a meeting at 3pm today. Hopefully they won't wimp out and do like Henrico last night and vote only to uphold the constitution which they already are sworn to uphold. A women from the Henrico board said on the radio this morning that it would be up to person whose guns were seized by the sheriff to seek a legal challenge. The country would enforce state laws until a court blocked them.

There are people talking about renting buses to get people from out of town to the event, like Northern VA or Western VA, there. That will work great for people in those areas. We need parking for those who are driving into the event.

People didn't get out and vote for those that represent their beliefs. Now they are going to stand by with this bullshit faux sanctuary. All the while knowing that once this is passed it's not going to be removed from the books. The left side will wait for your grandchildren to plant flowers on the graves of the Patriots to enforce it.

Bottom line.......not voting caused this. Not getting involved locally to get someone to represent your ideals caused this.
Local politicians don’t pull this crap were I’m from. I vote that those in Virginia that wanna talk about people that should have voted need to finish the job and hang politicians from a rope.
