That was not my point. My point was that customer dress codes are not unusual. I remember having a tie put on me as a young fellow by a maitre d more than once. I believe an argument that is so easily falsifiable takes away from the meat of the argument, and lets people slide by the issue as easily as I did with a simple picture. And, for what it's worth, no shoes, no shirts comes from public health guidance.
I do continue to believe that there is a significant difference between private institutions making their own rules and government doing it, much as I might not like some of those rules. I know you disagree.
