Yes. I know that Sebastian Gorka, who was in Trump's team, has problems with Youngkin. Youngkin was also a member of the Carlyle Group and that makes me ask questions as I don't think he is a Trump supporter......Time will tell and hopefully, he'll be one of the good guys.
He just won a state where Trump got absolutely crushed. He's be better off governing like a competent human being than an orange tinted cyclone. In fact, everybody in the country would benefit from that.

The problems started immediately, with dozens of bills aimed at destroying our individual rights and freedoms. Their policy would have made million(s) of lawful citizens felons overnight. The Dem power-grab was on.
The response: a grass root effort by the civilians to defend these hard won and morally justified rights. The major push was a concept now known as '2nd Amendment Sanctuary County', a model that has since been often copied nationally. The idea here was that the county government promised not to enforce any unconstitutional laws coming out of Richmond. This went from an idea to a reality in blitzkrieg time. Within weeks, over 50% of the Commonwealth's counties were '2A Sanctuaries'. Within months, over 90% of the counties were... In political time, this is record breaking effort, especially when you consider this driven by hundreds of thousands of individuals, who largely did not know each other and are separated by hundreds of miles across our large state. Only thing in common was their intense will not to bow down to the Dems in Richmond and surrender.
Here is the map as it currently stands. Just a few socialist 'safe spots'.
Obviously, yesterday's result was a thrilling victory for the people, over the tyrannical political elites. As a warning to them, we confidently restate our Commonwealth's motto: Sic semper tyrannis.

Morning talk show host here made a comment about a local Afro-American anchor on local news. Never gave name or station. The anchor was going on about how every time the black man rises up and makes gains, the white people slap them back down again. This was after the election results came out. Surprised the talk show host about the reaction from this guy.

I will say again that all three of the VA candidates are a good model for what we need - positive, competent, decent people who aren't running on a platform of grievance and anger about what has been taken from them. The US can still be better than it ever has been, and that is something to be positive about.

What is worry some is the people who don't get it. Anything Trump touches is polarized and right leaning general conservative people are absolutely out numbered by left leaning folks. I've said before to people that go on about Trump vs Biden rallies that they should think of the BLM marches, not the riots, as anti-Trump rallies and then think how many people were excited to vote against him.
