Has anything more come of this? If so what’s it looking like now and can I buy one ?
Thanks!
I’ve got one and it works awesome, shoot Cory a PM and he’ll make it happen!

If it uses button cells they come out of the packaging dead all the time. Test the voltage before you insert them.Has anyone had an issue with their remote dying? Three brand new batteries all back-to-back have been put in the remote, turns on, auto pairs with the LRF, then promptly dies. Zero clue what is going on at this point.
I'm pretty sure it's just an all around issue with my Impact. I've been having a lot of issues with it as of late. Latest issue is not displaying range, but then displaying a hold over. Range something (using the button on the unit since the remote is still not working) then check the screen. It'll show say 3.4 mils up and 50yd distance. We'll that hold would be for 500yd which isn't wrong for the hold/dial but absolutely the wrong range. If it uses button cells they come out of the packaging dead all the time. Just bought one of these and setting it up I have a dumb question.
Is there a way to lock the wind direction so it is not updated by the compass? I would prefer it always just give a hold at 90° to the shooter so if the wind direction changes I don't have to update it.

Well went out to use it this afternoon and my screen started turning black in about a second after ranging and I couldn't read it so I'm not worried about turning off the compass anymore.
I guess I will send it in then. Before it started doing this it was a bit black along the bottom edge of the screen but still readable.Dang that looks like a hardware issue with the LCD display. That almost certainly needs to go in for warranty. Good luck!
I had that same issue in cold temp (15-20) and a low battery. Battery swap and warming it up, it went back to normal. Was fine the next day in same cold tempsI guess I will send it in then. Before it started doing this it was a bit black along the bottom edge of the screen but still readable.

I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue. Oh well things happen. Vortex has grest customer service.
I did not have a low battery and after having it inside overnight the screen still isn't back to normal.I had that same issue in cold temp (15-20) and a low battery. Battery swap and warming it up, it went back to normal. Was fine the next day in same cold temps
Eek. Back it goes then, sorry budI did not have a low battery and after having it inside overnight the screen still isn't back to normal.
Well they replaced it and the new one works fine. It is great for coyote hunting.Eek. Back it goes then, sorry bud
I have mine set to stay on and sometimes shut it off between stands while calling at night. I carry a spare battery on my rifle and have only needed it once so far. @Prknives maks an battery storage that attaches to your scope. Use the rechargable CR123s and they last a lot longer, especially in the cold.Well they replaced it and the new one works fine. It is great for coyote hunting.
One small change I wish they could make is longer auto shut off time options, three minutes isn't quite long enough for a coyote stand or even an NRL Hunter stage but I don't want it to stay on until the batteries die if I forget to turn it off. The option for 5, 10, or 20 minutes would be awesome.
Leaving it on is probably the way to go I just don't want to forget and have an unexpected dead battery as I often forget things like that.I have mine set to stay on and sometimes shut it off between stands while calling at night. It definately delays a little the colder it gets.Leaving it on is probably the way to go I just don't want to forget and have an unexpected dead battery as I often forget things like that.
I have obtained several rechargeable 3.7V CR123s at you suggested and they have been great. The screen does still struggle a bit in the cold and it has given me the occasional oddball range but overall it's working pretty well.
Amazon brand JESSPOW. I may upgrade to something name brand but these have worked really well. What rechargeable batteries are yall running in the unit specifically if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks
