i have seen a few different versions of this, thought i would make my own. i mostly referenced this design:

i used a wire coat hanger and a snap swivel to hang the weasel instead of piano wire. i used JB weld for glue. next time i have access to a welder i will add a step on the rod. i have less than $15 invested in it and could build a second one in less than 2 hrs. i will be staking it in the ground at a slight angle to give the weasel more action. i dont think having it swing around in a perfect and level circle will be as enticing.
